Just to be clear, I did NOT confirm a job with him. However, he responded to my queries quickly, respectfully, and with professionalism. He scheduled a visit in the same week, and his estimate for the job was very fair. Most importantly to me, he did NOT try to scare me with the old sales tactic of "everything is wrong, and you need to get everything replaced". He was honest and tried to fit my needs as opposed to trying to extract as much money as possible from me. I did not confirm him only because I wanted it fixed earlier than he was available.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school at Chicopee Comp. Worked as a chemical engineer for 15 years at textile mill in the same town until the company moved overseas. I was very fortunate to meet a master tile setter who took me under his wing. I worked with him for about 10 years. Then I moved to the city and got a job with a high volume commercial flooring company. There I continued my training in all types of flooring products and applications. Now I am a project supervisor, overseeing large commercial jobs in hospitals and schools.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started over 20 years ago as an apprentice for a very particular master tile setter. He's the one that installed my level of detail and my approach to customer needs. I moved into the city and hooked up with a very busy commercial flooring company and I've been with them for over 15 years.
