In Feb.2014 I joined fitworks and since joining I've lost almost 60 pounds thanks to the help of Raymond and all staff members. Raymonds class has taught me to focus along with self respect confidence and breathing techniques. His class is one of the most intense workouts I've ever done. I would have never thought I would be able to make it through his class but with his assistant I now can make it through two classes. He's an amazing trainer who works out along with you and would never expect you to do anything he thought that you couldn't do. It has been a life changing experience for me and I highly recommend taking one of his classes or as a personal trainer. Who knows maybe it could change your life too!

A training experience with Raymond Gendreau is like no other training session you have ever had I can guarantee. Mr.Gendreau not only shows you how to properly train and exercise the RIGHT way. He has an amazing way of getting you to look beyond your fears and doubts and making you believe, that yes! You can do it! Because of Mr. Gendreau's training, i ran 4 5k's in 5 months, lost 48 lbs. In four months and most importantly overcame my fears and doubts as a survivor of domestic violence and having been born with Myatonic Muscular Dystrophy that for years, placed me in constant doubt and with a strong mindset of never being able to lose weight or love who i am. I have no regrets training with Mr. Gendreau, ever. I look forward to him kicking my butt in class, and pushing my body past it's limits, or for lack of better words as he would put it...my mind's limits. Thanks to him, I am a completely different woman. I am STRONG!

There are not enough words to describe what an amazing trainer Ray is. Putting your trust into a trainer is not easy. I decided to hire Ray. I informed him of what I was looking to achieve. From day one he made sure I understood every part of the process from the food plan to the exercise plan. He was always available when I needed a question answered. On a weekly basis he would check in on me to make sure I was on track. He always made sure I had the correct gear to protect myself from an injury. At times when the plan became tough I reflected back on how he inspired me to never give up. Six months later I am in the best shape of my life. Now I know how to eat and exercise to reach my goals. I am mentally and physically stronger than ever. I give myself credit for my success but I also include my trainer as part of this. He laid down a foundation for me to work off of. When making a lifestyle change like this you need to have someone by your side that is as dedicated to your success as you are. I know firsthand that Ray is the person to have in your corner. This is truly the best decision I have ever made. Team Ray!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I do have standard pricing and will provide that to all perspective clients.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First contact is usually made by telephone or email to discuss the specifil goals of the client and their current fitness level. I then send a client multiple questionnaires to help me better understand my clients habits, strengths and weeknesses. I also require a dietary log of three days from all clients. Once all questionnaires are complete, they are evaluated and appointment is set to review and as a team come up with a course of action based on the goals and time frame of my client.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Look for a trainer who listens to your fitness goals and avoid one's who put their fitness goals on you. Also avoid "coaches" who are not certified personal trainers selling supplements, meal replacements programs.
