Let’s get the details out of the way first. I am a Boston based installer, but I am happy to travel to Western MA, RI and NH! If that requires me traveling more than an hour each way I do charge a base rate of $150.
What else do you need to know? I’m a perfectionist. When it comes to hanging paper and art, details matter. I will always take my time to ensure that the job is done right and that you are fully satisfied.
I’m also a prompt and clear communicator and I offer a superior experience at competitive prices.
In fact, I’m so confident that I offer a satisfaction guarantee. What does that mean? Simply put, if you’re not satisfied with my work you do not have to pay for my work.
Lastly, and this is a bit uncomfortable, it has recently been brought to my attention that most Thumbtack users are unaware of the method of monetization, so I thought I’d take a moment to break it down here. Every time a user reaches out to a contractor, that contractor is charged a Lead Fee. The amount of that fee varies based on a number of factors, but it tends to be in the range of $10-$30. That means if you reach out to 4 contractors and only use one, or maybe none, we all still pay for that contact. This week alone I have been charged $90 in lead fees and none of the folks who contacted me even responded to my initial message. To be clear, I don’t blame the users for this at all! This is what I signed up for. I only bring it up in the hopes that if users are more aware of the monetization model, they will be more deliberate in the number of contractor they reach out to.
