We received Swing Dance lessons and were very happy with the service!!!
We first met Betty when a friend of ours gifted us two free dance lessons leading up to our wedding. Betty worked with us to put together a swing dance routine for our first dance over the course of four one hour lessons. Neither of us had ever taken dance lessons before, but under Betty's guidance we learned the basics of swing and a routine that we really enjoyed and felt comfortable with. Everyone at the wedding really loved our dance, and for months afterward people were still telling us how impressed they were. We enjoyed our time with Betty so much that we have continued our lessons with her and have had fun learning new styles like hustle and cha cha. Betty is very kind and a wonderful teacher and dancer. Her passion for dance is apparent in the enthusiasm she brings to every lesson. We would highly recommend Kitchen Dancing to anyone looking to learn dance for their wedding or just for fun!
I have used Chavi for private yoga lessons for almost a year now. She is deeply knowledgeable about all aspects of yoga, its history and its application for addressing the total self, not just the body. She has a very strict focus on form to assure maximum sage effect. She is very busy, so plan ahead and be regular.
Private Piano Lessons: Friendly, knowledgeable and nurturing. Kristen Ledson makes learning enjoyable and satisfying. I would recommend her strongly.
I hired Lucy for a work gathering, where I thought it would be super fun for my coworkers and I to take a salsa class (i was in charge of choosing a team building activity). Working 40 hours a week in a dental office can sometimes get to you, and this was definitely an idea 100% worth doing again to help bring us together in a fun stress-free way!! Lucy was prompt, and once lessons started she made it fun! Instead of "teaching" or correcting things that were "wrong" she made everyone feel comfortable and made it enjoyable instead of scary. We were able to learn a lot of the basics without feeling like it was work. I would highly recommend her for any event needs- it could be for a wedding, for a fundraiser, a team building event- she can bring the dance floor to you and make it better than imagined.
Ian has been teaching our 7-8 year old private tap lessons for the last year. Our favorite thing about it is that Ian's talent really gives us the sense of infinite growth potential, but he still meets William at just the right level for that particular moment. Ian is very in tune with his students, and can adapt his style and curriculum until he gets the best response from his students. We also like that he is teaching some of the underlying music theory and history of tap, which William certainly wouldn't get in his normal dance classes. Ian makes a point to welcome us at every one of the Subject:Matter performances that we've gone to, which has made the whole family feel plugged into the larger Boston tap community. Ian has been easy to coordinate with and reliable, and we are looking forward to continuing to work with him!
Helped in the preparation for pro dance team auditions. Aided in brushing up on skills, technique and in preparing a routine. Having Pamela's quidance and support increased my confidence going into my first audition!
Letriah is a great teacher! In the beggining when I first went to see her I was a bit afraid thinking that maybe I wasnt going to be able to understand because I really dont have any knoledge of reading music. Im learning each class a bit more. She is patient, very kind, easy to follow, knoledgeble and a great teacher over all.

I am a college student studying classical guitar and classical voice at the Hartt School of Music. I have played electric guitar for 7 years in a rock band in California.
I'm a dancer, and I take classes as well because I believe that the more you learn, the better you get. There is no rush, as long as we're having fun, and you're learning .
I am a ballet dancer and instructor. I have experience teaching all ages and all levels. I generally like to include some extra stretching and conditioning in my classes as well as a more comprehensive approach to ballet. I like my students to understand the connections that their bodies and minds can have. Ballet is also a wonderful way to improve concentration, coordination, and strength.
