- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My overnight care starts at $175/day and includes full-time in-home care so pets can stay comfortable in their normal routine and environment with someone who is experienced while you travel. A deposit is required to reserve dates, especially for longer bookings and busy seasons. I may occasionally offer discounted rates for new clients depending on the booking :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process starts with an in-home meet and greet so both the pets and owners can get comfortable with me, and I can make sure it’s a good fit on my end as well. During the meet and greet, we go over routines, care instructions, and any important details about the pets or home. From there, clients can send the deposit to secure their booking, or if needed, we can schedule additional meet and greets or trial visits beforehand to help everyone feel fully comfortable :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets and have been pet sitting full time for nearly two years. I’m currently taking Pet First Aid/CPR classes, and I’m also insured for added safety :) Throughout my time pet sitting, I’ve cared for a variety of animals and relationships with over 10 clients and their pets.
