FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For video work, I generally charge about $2000-$3000 per minute of finished video. Longer videos tend to be less per minute, and shorter videos tend to be more. Depending on my availability, I am sometimes willing to work for less. Also depends on equipment used. Videos shot on my RED Epic will be more expensive than a DSLR type camera. I believe strongly that you get what you pay for, and it's absolutely worth it to invest in a video shot on RED.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start by asking a lot of questions. Understanding my client's story, mission, and culture is the first step in my process. An in-person meeting is always beneficial, as it allows us to get know each other and is a great way for me to demonstrate how my personality is conducive to a fun and efficient production process. I will submit a detailed project proposal within a week of our first meeting or phone call.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied film production at Connecticut College.
