"I had a really great experience using Matt and his team from Federal Hill – I would use them again and recommend them to my closest friends, family, people I don’t like and strangers. They’re awesome! They were the 3rd or 4th estimate we received in the past year to have some speakers mounted and all the wires for our home theater and mounted TV concealed. The other guys who came seemed more like their specialty was electrical work and they dabbled in the home theater/audio space, but this was obviously Federal Hill’s specialty. They were super knowledgeable and their experience was evident through the questions they asked and recommendations they made. I will say that they were not the least expensive quote we received, but I decided I’d rather pay a little more and have it done right the first time and not have to worry. They came and provided an initial free assessment and let me know the details of what the work would entail including holes they would need to make that would require patching and what the work would cost. I was provided a day and time when they could come and do the work the same day they did the assessment. They were responsive and courteous during the entire experience. When they arrived, they asked first whether I wanted them with shoes off and gave me updates while they did the work. They constantly cleaned up after themselves and did a final cleaning at the end of it all and were pretty thorough. I only found a tiny bit of dust that I had to wipe up and I ran the vacuum out of habit, not necessity. I was left with four holes towards the base of the walls where wires had to be snaked for the mounted speakers – each of the holes were about 2 inches wide by about 5 inches high. The only thing I thought of after the fact was whether the pieces cut out were whole enough where they could have been used to patch the holes but they were thrown out as part of their cleaning – this could have potentially saved me having to go buy some drywall to cut pieces for the patches. Even then, it is possible that the pieces cut out were in poor condition after being sawed out and not able to be reused so I’m not certain that this is an oversight. I really don’t have any complaints and I will definitely look to use them again for my next home theater system project. I highly recommend them!"
