As soon as I hired this company through Thumbtack I received a request that I text the person my address and my availability. While this seemed unorthodox, and potentially a scam, I proceeded. I offered three blocks of time in the upcoming week. Late Sunday night I received a text asking me if sometime Monday morning would still work. It did not, since my employment obligations had filled during that time. I asked for a specific time they planned to come later in the week or next week and received no response. The refusal to set an actual appointment time was unprofessional and made actually using these services impossible.
