I hired Leap Home Services for several handyman jobs like repairing a door frame, fixing an oven handle, a sliding door, and repairing molding. Their carpenter is excellent and works fast and does a great job. The response time from Kevin is quick, so I appreciate that. However, I was charged a lot each time and that was distressing and extremely frustrating. That is the only negative. Marylynne, Thank you so much for the review! We charged you $155 for labor and $25 for the materials today, although is less than an hour of work, but we have to go to home depot purchase materials and travel back and forth, when you add all these up is more like 3.5 hours. Bigger project will cost less when you calculate by the hour. We have to factor these expenses into the invoice. And we always provide pricing upfront, I hope this will justify the total $180 for today's charge. Kevin was amazing from the start! I got an almost immediate response to my Thumbtack inquiry. He wanted to send a technician out the same day, but I had to schedule it out a few days to accommodate my tenant's schedule. The technician arrived as scheduled and quickly resolved the issues. My tenant had some follow up questions and Kevin was eager to wrap them up with the tenant directly.
