Introduction: Cook. Eat. Learn. Together. Field to Fork is a private chef enterprise, owned and operated by chef Ryan Redmond, who holds a professional chef degree from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, from which he graduated with high honors in 2007. Field to Fork exclusively offers interactive, hands-on dinner parties. These intimate, educational, and fun events can best be described as dinner parties combined with cooking classes. There are two interesting, compelling trends at play in our society today: On the one hand, people spend less and less time eating meals together at home. On the other hand, interest in food and cooking has never been stronger. These dots need to be connected and Field to Fork is a dot connector. For a Field to Fork event, chef Ryan plans the menu, procures the ingredients—local and organic, when possible organizes the preparation and instruction, and engages all of the participants in cooking, eating, and learning together.
