FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Video projects start around $3,000 for filming and editing ~2 minute films
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the needs of the client I like to get to know their brand image and aesthetic. I'll check out their website or have them send me video inspirations of something they want to emulate. I make sure we are clear on what visuals they want, if they have specific ideas or need guidance for a vision. For weddings I have an intake form that asks about special needs or events to capture, what music you want for the video, and I offer multiple re-edits so clients always get the video they want.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Documetnary Film and Anthropology at Marlboro College in Vermont. It was a non-traditional film education, very self directed, but equipped me with a diverse set of skills in all areas of production along with a wide exposure to different types of media. I've worked as a cinematographer and editor for several companies on a freelance basis. I've been exposed to many different approaches and methods to filmmaking - adding all these to my toolkit as well as learning how to work with a diverse group of people.
