Do your research. Make sure the teacher has a track record and is a NATS member, at minimum. Don't waste money studying with inexperienced teachers.
Celia Slattery Voice and Performance Studio
Introduction: Celia Slattery teaches voice technique for CCM styles (contemporary commercial music like pop, jazz, musical theater, rock, blues, etc). She is a NATS member (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and a certified teacher of Somatic Voicework (tm), a state-of-the-art technique that trains your voice for singing in much the same way that an athlete trains for peak performance.
Celia is a veteran performer and recording artist herself with broad experience in CCM styles and has a passion for teaching. Her students are professional stage, club and recording artists as well as the best shower singers around!
