Cathy was wonderful with my aging Aussie Shepard and my beagle. She is kind, thorough ,and very reasonable. We will definitely be using her services again.
Peter has been helping train my very domineering rescue pup. He has been nothing short of amazing!!! He is patient and kind and takes his time with each session. Our dog is stubborn and aggressive towards men, week by week I have been seeing changes in our dogs behavior. I am surprised at how quickly he picks things up all in great part to Peter. I look forward to the changes that we will see in appointments to come. I would 100% recommended Peter if you are in need of a dog trainer.
Theresa is doing great job on training my dog. She really loves dog. I can tell that she is fully engaged in training dogs. She treats dog as her little baby. I am very glad to have Theresa as my dog's trainer. She is patient and responsible. Both of I and my dog have learned a lot from her. Sprite learned to sit, down, and leave things. She becomes a polite puppy and starts to listen to my instruction. Although sometimes she is still a little bit hard to control, she had learned more that I have expected. I would like to keep touch with Theresa and let her teach Sprite more lessons. I am very appreciate for what Theresa have done.
My experience with Sandy and the Pawsitive Experience was outstanding. The first thing I liked and appreciated was Sandys approach to assessing my situation. After getting acquainted with our dog and what I had hoped to accomplish with the dog training lessons, Sandy tailored a program to our needs and didnt try to heap unnecessary add-ons to my program. Once the lessons began, the thing that stood out was Sandys attention, not only to our dog, but also to my family (and children, in particular). Sandy took the time during each lesson to integrate my young children into the lessons so that they could get comfortable around our dog and understand that the dog was young and needed time to grow up just as they do. My best endorsement of Sandy is to say that because of her help, we absolutely love having a dog as part of our family and our dog loves being part of our family. If you want a friendly, knowledgeable and professional dog trainer, give Sandy a call.
We adopted a beagle puppy and we were in need of some easy one on one training and we decided to go with John and I just want to say he was awesome. he helped the whole family get involved with the training sessions he is very dedicated and knowledgeable of every aspect in regards to dogs. We have 5 sessions and each session John never stopped when his time was up he stayed as long as it took to get Mona to do what was needed at that training session. Balanced Pooches sends out tips via emails and if you have any questions even after the sessions John will answer them. Thanks to John and Nakita, our Mona is a very well adjusted dog and every day gets better and better at her commands and listening skills. I would highly recommend Balanced Pooches for anyone needing one on one training for their 4 legged friend.
I adopted my 2 year old dog Kayla only 3 months ago and Mike, along with help from his 2 wonderful dogs, has helped us reach several milestones: teaching her to get in the car, introducing her to the dog park experience, learning to walk on the leash, and most importantly, building up my confidence so I can help Kayla build up hers. I highly recommend his services.
No bones about it. Chelsea is the pack leader. She trains dogs without treats & without the use of E-collares. I was blown away when on our second lesson she came into my house of 5 dogs & within 10 minutes all my bone heads were sitting down together QUIETLY and looking up at us. I would have never thought it possible never-ending in just 10 minutes. Then she proceeded to bring her service dog into my house without my dogs ever meeting him. They did not make a peep & sat to meet him. It was like the Twilight Zone. This can't be my dogs!@#? As dog parents, we tent to let a lot slip. We are not in control. We are not being the "PACK LEADER " This is hard for us but it is also confusing for our dog's. They have to know who is the boss. Chelsea will teach you that. Just remember, she can teach you the way, but you must become the "PACK LEADER " she can not do it for you. She will always be by your side but it is up to you to guide your dog down that path. Chelsea is the only person I would trust to do that with me.
Michelle is absolutely terrific at what she does. My husband and I were in our late 50's when we got a puppy and thought we are crazy so we hired Michelle to work with us at our home. It was the best experience. My dog Bailee is the most well behaved dog. I can take her anywhere with me, to anyone's house and she is extremely well behaved. I feel that we owe all of this to Michelle. I would never give a second thought in recommending Michelle. She was a fantastic dog trainer and you can tell that she loves doing what she does.

We were in search of a new dog walker to help us with our 2 year old golden. We never expected to meet such a reliable and professional person as Jess. She brings a lot to the table with her many years of experience working with animals. Our dog absolutely loves her (he rolled onto his back within minutes of meeting her which is not typical of him at all!). I would highly recommend Jess to anyone looking for someone passionate about helping owners and their animals.
In a very short period of time, Steve was able to teach myself and my dog, Oozie, several new commands that we’ve been trying to learn for weeks, with treats and clickers...If you are looking for a real dog lover and professional trainer, Steve is your guy!
Blake was a great trainer in helping me with my dog who had crate anxiety. When I got my dog he couldn't even stay in the crate for an hour without hurting himself, Blake was caring and helped train him to where he can stay in the crate for full work days no problem. She also cared enough to teach him obedience and helped my dog become confident in being away from me. Being trained by her was the best thing that could have happened for my dog.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Last night I received my new boy, Abel from Jenny McPhee at Omni K9. Abel was shipped from Massachusetts to my place in California, and when Abel was unloaded from the transport van, I called his name and it was like an instant bond. I have never seen a bad pup come from Omni K9, they are all stable, level headed, excellently bred working dogs. Jenny sent Abel's x-rays of his hips and elbows, and they are excellent. No issues at all! Abel is a year and a half old and was started on his training when he was a pup by Jenny and Nick. I can vouch for their training as I was playing around with some obedience work with Abel today. His recall, heel, down/stay are all on point! More so that I thought it would be since he is a green dog. The amount of time, love, care and training Jenny has for all of her dogs is phenomenal and it all shows through each of them. Abel was her boy, her companion, and his demeanor is amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Nick and Jenny's training at Omni K9 and Jenny for her Omni K9 Gear products to anyone looking for an excellent training equipment and amazing working dogs!!
We have been coming to Lynn for training our dogs, and us, for almost 20 years. She is the Best. We are grateful to Lynn for her excellent care, her love for dogs, patience and Kindness. She helps us have more confidence and better skills when training. Monday nights, our favorite time of the week, It's girls night out for our dog Izzy and me. Izzy is so happy training with Lynn. Her tail wags through the entire class. Lynn is always a phone call away for questions and advice. From 2 very happy students, Izzy and shelly. Thank you Lynn 🐾🐶💕
A little over a month ago I was in an impossible situation with my 1 yr old puppy, Piper. Or, as we liked to call her, "Hyper Piper". Although a very happy puppy inside our home, Piper had SEVERE social anxiety. She demonstrated fearful aggression (barking, growling, hiding) towards ALL people except those in our household and all animals except her sister, our 4 yr old Golden Doodle. I was at a complete loss. I couldn't take her for a walk because of her social anxiety, yet I couldn't address the anxiety because I couldn't even walk her. That's when I decided I needed the help of a professional; someone trained in helping the dog as well as the family, in such a situation. After researching several trainers and much contemplation, my husband and I decided that hour long weekly training sessions would not be sufficient to work through Piper's anxiety and meet our needs, which was to have a well trained dog that adhered to command and who was well behaved in public. So we opted to send Piper away for 4 weeks to train with Ken at Caliber K9. This was NOT an easy decision! I was giving away "my baby" for 4 weeks! I had every range of emotion..."what if he hurts her? What if she doesn't remember me? What if he likes her better than me?" All logical questions for a dog mom, right? I can tell you, it was the very best decision I could have made. From day one, Ken demonstrated his vast knowledge as he handled my dog (my baby!). Coupled with a quiet and professional demeanor, I knew training with Ken would be a success. Once away from home, Ken was sympathetic to how much I missed Piper. He provided me daily updates via text with pictures and videos demonstrating Piper's progress. On a few occasions, after establishing Piper's trust, I was able to visit and watch first hand while Ken trained. Four weeks went by quickly (surprisingly!) and Piper made incredible strides. She battled "squirrels in her head " (as Ken likes to call it) ignoring outside stressors, learned how to walk nicely on lead, learned to climb a ladder (for confidence!), learned to stay in command, etc. While Piper still needs some continuing training (she's a very "complex" dog) the strides she made are again, incredible. Everything I asked and paid for. To ensure Piper continues moving forward Ken has agreed to meet with me weekly. These sessions are designed to train ME in handling Piper. If your dog is not a severe case such as mine, you may very well not need additional training. The progress made in 4 weeks is probably perfectly suitable for "normal" dogs. But for me these additional sessions are invaluable. Today, Piper went to the park where she encountered dogs and people, roamed PETCO, and even went into (Yes, INTO!) the mall. She "performed" remarkably! Ken only trains one dog at a time. This was a huge selling point for me. While his pricing was measurable to other board and train establishments, training with Ken meant that my dog would get undivided attention. This may very well be one of the reasons Piper has done so well. And probably most important for me, Ken evaluated Piper's personality immediately. His goal was to train Piper without stripping her of her fun and loving personality. He delivered what he promised (so grateful!) and I couldn't be happier. Today, when we meet weekly, Piper is so excited to see Ken. And she seems to genuinely enjoy her training sessions! And so do I. It's such a positive experience for both of us. If you have a dog that just needs general obedience training, or one with more severe issues like Piper, Ken is your trainer. You won't be disappointed. If you are considering training and would like to speak in person feel free to send me a request via Messenger. Mary Lanzillo-Miller
Maggie has been amazing with our dog, Perry! He has learned so much with her, including new tricks, playing appropriately with other dogs, and how to be a pup again. Through her consistent training, language, and various agility work, Perry has become a more confident and lovable dog, who is much more comfortable now then ever. I just can't say enough about how incredible it has been to have Maggie work with Perry (and us)!!!
Katy has been an AMAZING trainer, she has been training my golden retriever puppy to be my service dog. He has learned so much in just a few short weeks. I have nothing but positive feedback for Katy. Incredible trainer that I look forward to continuing working with!
Heidi is an excellent trainer. She not only clearly demonstrates what to do but explains why you are doing it that way. In just a couple of sessions my dogs are doing things I thought were impossible and my dogs have had 8 years of bad habits to correct.
Absolutely unbelievable experience thus far. Friendly, timely, flexible availability and location. Great with our puppy and he is already substantially improved with only 2 sessions. You will not be disappointed with Sandra!
She is amazing with the animals! She taught my dog (and me) most of the basic commands in just 45 mins with great results! She spent a good 2 hrs. Talking about ways I can help my dog (new rescue), and how she is willing to help me. I could not have found a better, more personable trainer than Kim.

I teach dog owners how their dog's mind works, and how to connect to the dog in a way it understands. I teach the dog owner how to be an effective pack leader so the dog will follow the owner out of respect, not because they have food treats.
