I have been using Pawsite Dawg for 7 months now and could not be more thankful that I found them for my 2 chihuahuas, Louie and Olive. What I love is that I have one regular dog walker (Tricia) and not a group dog walker model like some other businesses have, where a different person could walk your dog each day. I have one difficult dog, who takes time to get to know new people and he now looks forward to his daily walks. I have also used them for over night stays in my home and everything went really smoothly. Angela is very organized and has been flexible when I needed a last minute night time or weekend walk. And to the prices are very competitive. I seriously cannot recommend them enough!

We were lucky enough to find Pawsitive Dawg when we were in search of a dog walker for our 4 year old beagle mix. Pawsitive Dawg was flexible from the start and we really enjoyed the thorough consultation. At the time we were working through a training program for our pup regarding her separation anxiety. Pawsitive Dawg was extremely understanding when we had to suspend walks for about a month while we helped our dog get back on track with staying home alone. Perhaps the best part of our experience with this company came when we adopted our second dog. As can happen with puppy adoptions, things moved very suddenly and very quickly and before we knew it we had an additional family member. We called Pawsitive Dawg only two days in advance to see if we could resume walking services for our new puppy. Even despite such short notice they were so accommodating and willing to help us right away. They even set us up with two walks a day and a midday feeding so that our puppy wouldn't be alone for too long and would also be fed. Angela was excellent in advising us how frequent the walks should be in order for our puppy to still be happy and healthy during the day. Because of their understanding our pup had a great day everyday right from the start. I truly believe this great start is why he does so well staying home now if we need to go somewhere. Having our first dog who previously struggled with separation anxiety, we know how important this really is. As our puppy grew older, we noticed he was pretty fearful of other dogs. Even despite puppy kindergarten and additional training, it still remained something he struggled with. Pawsitive Dawg was very understanding from the start. Angela helped us to set up separate walks for each of our dogs during their visit so that our puppy could have one-on-one attention to help work through his fears. I also cannot express how supportive Angela was to us during this time when we really struggled to find ways to help our puppy cope with his reactivity. Living in an area with many other people and dogs, this issue turned out to be much more challenging than we ever expected. Angela was always offering support and advice and encouraged us to continue with positive reinforcement training only for our puppy regarding his fears. Angela provided us with recommendations of trainers, books to read, websites and perhaps most importantly an understanding of exactly what us and our puppy were going through. Pawsitive Dawg was also fortunate enough to acquire a walker with previous training experience for reactive dogs. Angela told us she thought of our puppy right away and set up a few days where the new walker could come for our pups walk and work with him one on one. This personalized attention is exactly what Pawsitive Dawg is all about. Pawsitive Dawg is a wonderful company. Both us and our pups are so fortunate to have found them! Thank you so much Pawsitive Dawg!

We are absolutely OBSESSED with Pawsitive Dawg of Waltham, also serving surrounding areas. The owners and walkers are compassionate with the pups and owners alike. I always recommend this company to my friends and other owners at the dog park. They truly care about you like part of their own family and they will do everything within their power to make you happy. We have a very energetic dog and Pawsitive Dawg was able to help us develop a plan that met both our dog's needs and our budget. They offer a variety of walking, hiking and running options to keep your dog actively engaged so he never gets bored. The hikes to local parks are a great option to add diversity to your dog's routine. We love the relationships we have built with the people in this company! Also, unlike many other dog walking companies, Pawsitive Dawg has a modern online booking and invoicing system that makes the administrative tasks of requesting services and paying for them a breeze. We found the technological aspect of the business to truly improve our overall experience. WE LOVE YOU, PAWSITIVE DAWG!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Just because someone is the lowest priced or the highest priced service provider in the area, it does not mean they provide the best service. Interviewing through email, phone, or in person is the best way to make sure someone is the perfect match for you and your pet.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

We will provide service in all types of weather. We understand that your pet relies on us so we will do our best to arrive at our regularly scheduled time. However, when there is inclement weather, there is a possibility that our services may be delayed, shortened, or cancelled.
