Bella Italia Tile, did my bathroom floor and walls in Waltham. He came out within two days and gave me a quote and stuck to the price, I picked out tiles and bought them myself. The job was done in four days as scheduled even had a design and border. I was impressed with the quality and he was very clean, honest and ,most of all he worked long hours to get the job done as promised. I am having him do my kitchen floor, and hallway. Nothing went wrong, I would recommend him, and his workers. He even called after to see how everything was and if we needed anything else.

I had them do my Master bathroom, with design tiles on back wall of the Jacuzzi tub and the floors. It took four days from start to finish, and that was tiling and coming back after dried to finish grouting. I admire the work each day, and will be using them for the pool in the spring. I had this done two months ago, I am in Weston. There price was good, they cleaned up each day they left and took all trash. Before starting job we went over everything twice to make sure it was what we wanted and we did make changes to there expertise in the business. I highly recommend them.

I'd rather give no stars, but this will have to do. I hired Ralph "Pizzuto" to clean the grout in my shower and re-calk around the tub and window and I am absolutely devastated by what happened. Before you hire this person, Google Ralph Caldarelli, the name his business card and voicemail indicate, not Pizzuto.
I submitted a request through Thumbtack and Ralph replied almost immediately. I was impressed by how efficient and responsive he was however I know now I misinterpreted either desperation or intent to take advantage. We texted about the project and he offered a quick estimate of the cost and projected time to finish. Ralph came on a Saturday, he was pleasant and seemed professional. After starting on the grout in our shower, he realized he needed a different tool, he went to Home Depot for a couple hours - I didn't think anything of this as he checked in to let me know he'd be back shortly. I know now this was a lack of knowledge and preperation. He spent about 5 hours cleaning the grout and we planned for him to return the following morning to seal everything and apply the calking. At this point, I was happy with the service thus far. He came back Sunday morning as planned, applied the calking around the tub and window and explained to let things dry for at least 12 hours. It wasn't a perfect job, some spots were uneven but it was good enough. We did not take a shower in this bathroom for over 24 hours - until the following morning. Upon taking a shower, the calking became completely liquid and almost completely washed away, leaving gaping openings around the tub and window. We reached out to Ralph and he quickly responded saying he would come back to fix it. He came back Tuesday afternoon, explained the calking didn't hold because the shower had been wet from him cleaning the tile. He applied a different type of calking excessively around the tub, window and various corners throughout the shower. This application is where the experience becomes increasingly disappointing. The amount of calking he got on the actual tile is absolutely astounding, he explained this would easily come off so that my husband and I could clean it when it was dried. The calking in the actual grooves was lumpy, chunky and uneven. He left hastily and the following morning when we showered (more than 12 hours later), once again, all of the calking came out. At this point, with the mess left behind on the tile and the gapes left, this project will end up costing 2x as much as we paid Ralph. The calking on the tile is not coming off and prior to leaving he washed his tools in our sink, also leaving chunks of calking stuck to our sink, faucet and counter.
We have called Ralph 4 times, sent texts with pictures and emailed. It has been over a week and I have still not heard from Ralph...but of course our checks have been cashed.
Please do extensive research on this contractor and his "company" before allowing him into your home. I do not believe this person has the experience that he states in his profile and based on some of things I've read about his past "business ventures" we have decided to change our locks.
