The poor guy had his van towed from my street as it was trash day and the ONLY spot on the street he couldn’t park on trash day, he did. Not his fault as how could he know when trash day was on my street. I’d have been rip roaring aggravated but you couldn’t tell from his demeanor anything had happened. I drove him to pick up his vehicle but insisted on paying for his towed vehicle.
We ran into an issue with the wall he was papering that was the fault of my painter. He did his very best to make the wall perfect but the wall presented issues for the job. When all was said and done he told me he wasn’t happy how the wall turned out(again, not his fault) and since I had paid for the vehicle being towed I owed him nothing for the job. I insisted however he take something for his time and he reluctantly agreed.
In closing, even after all was said and done? We love the wall!! You’d need to be on top of to spot any issue with it. My wife and I are thrilled and it was a pleasure meeting someone like him that stood on his principles. He could’ve easily insisted on agreed upon amount. Muchas gracias to Guillermo, a true professional and exemplary human being. Bravo.
