We hired Pierce Painting & Decorating to paint the interior and exterior of our home and cannot be more elated with the results. The exterior project was first and was taken care of over the summer of 2018. We live in a 2500 sqft home in Newton and there was an extensive amount of prep work to be done. The house was thoroughly scraped, fully oil primed and painted using Benjamin Moore products. For the winter, we left for our annual month long vacation to a warmer climate and had the interior of our home refreshed. We hadn’t painted in about 5 years and everything now looks completed updated and beautiful. We couldn’t be happier with Ellen and her team. We definitely recommend Pierce Painting & Decorating for any of your painting needs.

I found Ellen Pierce through Thumbtack. I am thrilled with her work. She was prompt, professional, and I loved that she prepared paint samples (large) that I could stick to the wall, which really helped with the decision process. She painted large living area, kitchen and bedroom. She did outstanding work. Ellen covered my furniture and cleaned up after her days of work. She even helped me hang my art. Ellen is fantastic. I highly recommend her!!

Ellen and her crew are the amazing. We hired them to take care of water damage from the winter of 2015. Job consisted of painting ceilings and walls, scraping and painting double hung windows, repairing severely cracked horsehair plaster, and tricky color-matching.
Ellen and her crew were meticulous. Absolutely meticulous. The repairs to the walls are perfect, the paint is beautiful, and the windows are clean and tidy. They were careful to clean thoroughly, tape off areas, and recommend gorgeous color for both of our kids' rooms.
My husband is pretty particular, and while I cringe each time he goes through and marks up teeny, tiny little things he'd want addressed, Ellen was completely unfazed and handled them immediately.
She and her crew are trustworthy (I was never home when they worked on our home) and they were loving and friendly to our two, smelly somewhat-annoying Border Collies.
Recommend without hesitation. A+

What made me choose Ellen, was her patience and guidance on what colors to choose for each area of our home. During her initial consultation she took her time to explain the process and share her own ideas as requested.
Ellen and her team did a perfect job on painting our master suite, including the bedroom, hallway, stairs, bathroom and closets! They also did a fabulous job painting an additional bedroom and bathroom.
We were so happy with the hard work and time frame Ellen and her team stuck to. They were focused and efficient. We will definitely be using them again in the future!
