My movers were great. They arrived 5-10 minutes early. The two of them came with a truck far bigger than what I needed, which was a pleasant surprise because it meant time wasn't wasted on figuring out how to fit everything in. They were friendly and efficient yet careful with my belongings. They carried my furniture up 1 flight of stairs (from the basement) to the truck, drove 50 miles, then immediately began unloading and carrying heavy furniture up 2 narrow flights of stairs. They didn't stop for a snack or lunch or even to go to the bathroom. They asked where to put everything and followed every one of my instructions precisely. They did not charge for items like rollers or protective coverings or tape (or if they did, it was so little I didn't notice). They didn't require me to weigh all my items or provide an exact number or anything. It was a strict hourly rate.
