This is my first time working out with a personal trainer and I had no idea what to expect. She made sessions very friendly and I instantly felt comfortable working out with her. Danielle is just who I was looking for. She is encouraging, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to work with. I love having her come to my house. She brings a variety of equipment to use to keep things interesting and always has suggestions if something doesn’t feel right. I hadn’t worked out in a long time so I was apprehensive about working with a trainer but Danielle put me at ease right away. She is always on time and has a smile on her face. I have met with Danielle four times so far and have continued to be very pleased. I initially chose her over the others on Thumbtack, because she seemed like she would be willing to tailor a program specifically for me and my needs. At 53, this was the first serious step I have taken towards getting in shape. I wasn't interested in becoming a body builder, just stronger and healthier. Although I think Danielle would have the skills needed for someone who was interested in starting off more intensely, I was relieved to find that she was willing to let me (and my body) set the pace. Her style is gentle and encouraging but firm enough that I always end up doing more than I would ever attempt on my own. I really liked that she offered a free, first consultation. Although other personal trainers on thumbtack offered a small discount off their regular rate, I was more interested in the free consult. I wanted to be sure that it was a good fit before I committed. She is organized and on time. It's obvious that she is invested in each person's success. She has a wide working knowledge of the human body and what exercises work which muscles. She uses this knowledge to help you understand why what you are doing, matters. I feel hiring her was an excellent decision and I'm hoping that with her guidance and support that I will be able to make lasting changes.
