A truck arrived early, just as I was finishing cleaning off my car. They immediately cleared the front walk, sidewalk and the back door walkway. They then proceeded to snow blow the driveway and around the car.

You are paying for the convenience of getting a dedicated snow removal company. They have the whole process down from start to finish. I mean who else is sending you progess photos in the middle of a snow storm? Now I know why their slogan is "snow removal simplified."

The lady was very rude when I was calling to ask when they would come. I know it was a 17 inches of snow in Dedham, but she could have been more professional. It took them three days to come. They were done in 15 minutes. I got charged $409. I thought it was too much, considering the job and time.

This storm was a major event and route times were significantly delayed across all crews. That said, we understand how frustrating the wait feels from your perspective.
On pricing, our storm rates are based on snowfall depth and conditions rather than minutes on-site. In large storms, much of the work is in timing, dispatching, route access, and moving heavy accumulation safely—not just the final pass time once a crew arrives.
We’d like to review your service details with you directly, including the completed work quality and pricing, and make sure this is resolved properly.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Snowsurance offer flexible pricing plans, each designed to fit different needs. Regardless of your choice, you will receive the same top-tier service you expect. Our StormPay plan offers a variable rate after each storm, based on the snowfall totals in your city or town. Our SeasonPass plan offers a flat, seasonal rate that covers you for all storms throughout the season. Our SeasonPass Flex plan offers a flat, monthly rate for five months that covers you for all storms throughout the season.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Request custom pricing for your home on our website. Select one of three flexible pricing plans. You can pay after each storm, pay each month, or each season. Invoices are emailed and can be paid online with your preferred credit card or bank. Your home is added to one of our local routes with other customers in your neighborhood. When winter weather approaches, Storm Alerts will keep you up-to-date through every stage of the storm. You’re automatically covered for any storm with two or more inches of snow. No need to call us out—we’ve got it handled. Each of our crews are equipped with a truck and plow, snowblowers, and shovels to clear your property efficiently and thoroughly.
