Clay got right back to me whenever I called him, they showed up on time, cleaned up everything and left me with a marble countertop that looks brand-new! I would highly recommend.Oct 13, 2018Act One's reply
Thank you, pleasure working for you!
Very, very pleased! Came right on time, the project (shower re-grouting) came out great and left the place clean as could be. Would not hesitate to use again and/or refer to a friend.Sep 20, 2018
I've had Clay do work for us twice and everything was great both times. Work was done on time, everything cleaned up, looked great, easy to work with.Oct 29, 2018Act One's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Most quotes are firm. No extras. Don't you hate when contractors add on money for seemingly no reason? We do, too. The only time we charge more than our written quote is if you ask us to do more work. Even then, we'll let you know what the total is before the work, so you can decide if you'd like to proceed or not.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Many jobs can be quoted with a few photos of the surface you'd like to have worked on. A brief phone conversation is usually a good idea, to make sure we're on the same page.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Stone restoration classes run by Maurizio Bertoli of MB Stone, world famous marble restorer. Tile installation class at the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation facility in South Carolina. Certified in Stone, Masonry and Tile by the IICRC, Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. Certified Document Technologist, a designation by the Construction Specifications Instititute.
