Jacques was friendly and a true professional. He was very helpful, even giving me a materials shopping list with the part numbers and prices. He did an outstanding job remodeling our bathroom. His price was very reasonable for all of the work he did. We are already planning for him to come back in the spring to replace our front door. I would highly recommend Jacques for your home repair.

Dan was hired to assemble and install IKEA cabinets in the kitchen. He did an impressive job they look beautiful. It was part of remodeling of our kitchen and as a contractor he scheduled his time around and with both the electrician and plumber. It soon became apparent that his skills on other parts of the renovation was invaluable. He opened the kitchen up in ways we didn't know was possible and offered ideas in the design that made our little kitchen more spacious then we thought possible. His help with coordinating color and patterns made this old kitchen in to something you might see in a magazine. We love it Thank you Dan! My Mother is a bit of a perfectionist and making her happy can be a task at times, but he accomplished it with a very professional attitude and skill. I have worked with other contractors before who can be tempermental with poor communication and disappearing for weeks at a time Not Dan he always kept me in the loop and was available for every concern. As for any improvement in hind sight the kitchen floor should have been covered the whole time because the plaster dust was somewhat difficult to scrub off the floor. And can I mention he did this while 2 small kids were Home on vacation and often in the way. His patients are to be admired as he always had a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.

Don and his brother Sean did an outstanding job of helping me clean out my Dad's basement, which turned into more work than expected with the rest of the house too! They went far above the "extra mile", they are the nicest people I've ever hired and their prices are beyond reasonable! In addition to the cleanout, I had to move items with a rental van to my house, my husband was sick and couldn't drive it, so they went out of their way the next day and picked it up for me and drove an hour away to bring the furniture I kept to my house - then returned the van for me! I recommend them HIGHLY!!! I will definitely hire them again in the future without thinking twice.

We had an amazing experience with Tony! After having issues with the last two contractors I have hired, I was hesitant to once again try and hire a new project out to an unknown contractor...But luckily Tony restored my faith in honest professional hardworking contractors who take pride in their work and their finished products. I was offered/accepted a job out of state and I hired Tony to refinish my basement, bathroom, install new upstairs railings/spindles and at the last second also had him refinish our hardwood floors so we can put our house on the market and to say we are happy would be an understatement. Tony went above and beyond to accommodate us from day one and he understood or time constraints and the issues of moving out state pose. So much so l, that when a miscommunication (100% my fault) arose, Tony came to my house on a Sunday morning to make sure I was happy. Name a contractor that would work a full Sunday because of a customers own misinterpretation? Well Tony did when he didn't have to just to make things right in my eyes. Tony was also spot on in all of his estimates and didn't suddenly start adding a $4 nail here or a $7 bolt here but rather stayed right on track the whole time! I would, and already have, recommend Tony for any job you may have. My only regret is that we didn't find Tony sooner! PS- I think the only ones that were happier with Tony being in the house doing the work were the dogs!

Honestly, Greg does top quality work across the board. He pays attention to detail, is extremely professional, trustworthy, and has a great personality. The best part is that he treats every job he works on or piece of furniture he builds as if he was making it for his own family or home. He did a project for me in an unfinished room which needed to have sheetrock taped and then applied joint compound and did the sanding and painting for the whole room as well. His work was perfect across the board. The taping and sanding was smooth and seamless and there was no dust or mess after he cleaned up. The painting of the room was great and everything looks clean, finished, and polished. Even my wife was 100% happy with the room after all the work was finished, which is no easy task. Greg is my handyman of choice for any of my home needs or custom furniture building, like the custom bookcase and table he has built for me. If you need something done at your home, Greg is the man for the job. His prices are reasonable and his work is top notch.

Jim was great to work with. My great aunt's Victorian bedroom set was water damaged due to a plumbing leak. It needed a lot of work from repair to refinishing. Jim took great care doing the work. He gave a clear time and money estimate and kept me informed every step of the way,

We have worked with Kevin Brennan on several projects over the past few years and he has stepped up to provide top notch results with full consideration of and attention to our tight time schedules. Work being completed now is the 45 room Hotel on North in Pittsfield, where manpower was increased to meet an ambitious completion schedule. With a few weeks remaining until opening, Kevin has painting and finishing following immediately on the heels of carpentry installations before him. Prior to Hotel, Kevin coordinated finishes for the renovations to Saint Joseph Rectory and worked around owner schedule for furniture, despite being pulled off by our office to assist on a separate project where other finishers had fallen behind. Kevin has a great eye for colors, is able to repair surfaces damaged by others and will stop and check before doing something that does not appear to be correct or represent an appropriate finish. We recommend him highly to anyone who would like a first class painting project.

Denis Russell is an exceptional painting professional. I had a short window of time needed to paint out a rental and I called Denis. Denis did a beautiful job on time and on budget and was able to give me the expert advice on what kind of paint to obtain and what finishes worked best for my condo. Please accept my highest recommendation for Dennis Russell!!!

    About

I restore 1930s through1950s "vintage furniture." I do careful wood restoration and chalk paint coloring, and presto! Drab, unwanted furnishings become unique, striking conversation pieces. Paint colors will vary from bright to muted, although I believe that bright colors are especially good at bringing old furniture back to life with a bang. I restore and may repurpose dressers, occasional tables, coffee tables, end tables, desks, bookcases, chests, kitchen or dining tables and chairs, individual chairs, cribs, children's furniture and other items, if requested. I will restore or repurpose furniture manufactured later than 1950 if requested by an individual client.
