Mark has been my coach for 5 years now. I have competed and won competitions in strongman and powerlifting. Mark brought my bench, deadlift and squat to unparalleled levels. When I started to get serious about my health and physical fitness, I decided to seek out personal trainers. After several interviews, I began to worry I wouldn’t find someone who could meet my needs. But when I finally met Mark, I felt an immediate connection. Not only does he “walk the walk and talk the talk,” but he is also 100% committed to his client’s goals. During each training session, he challenges me and teaches me how to use machines that I would have never touched when I went to the gym on my own. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I first make it a point to get a phone consult to discuss their goals , exercise history , strengths , weaknesses etc and try to see if we are a good fit and the best way i can help them reach their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?12 years of practical hands on experience with clients male and female ages 16-80, ISSA personal training certification , 18 years of reading and hands on experience with myself
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I grew up overweight as a child then made a lifestyle change in high school and devoted my life to learn everything about fitness and nutrition so i could help myself and others become their best self.
