When I first started the cleanse program I did it with the full intention of learning more healthier things to cook for my family. Which I did. I never intended to lose 8 pounds, which I did. I never intended to find out that I have an allergy to dairy and gluten, which I do. This program has caused a revolution in the foods I make at home. My kids are saying, are you sure this is nutritious. My husband is actually trying green shakes; if you knew my husband you'd be amazed. I have developed decreased bloating and gas in my digestive system. I have a greater clarity of thought. I have a better overall mood "and more energy. It was and still is, as Martha Stewart would say "a very good thing.

My goal for seeing a nutritionist was to address my ever-increasing blood pressure. I was seeking an alternative to medications and a natural remedy through an appropriate diet. After first meeting with June I knew that she had the talent I needed to seek a life-style change. During the six months course I was able to reach an understanding with my body, its needs and wants, and to compensate for years of mistreatment. After completion of the course I can say that I have successfully reduced my blood pressure to normal levels. But the best part of working with June was learning all the new foods and recipes that have contributed to my success. I feel I will continue this successful path for years to come, if not a lifetime.

    I came to June House for nutritional counseling because I struggled with making healthy food choices and desired to lose weight. I was eating food with lots of sugar and caffeine and felt sluggish and irritable.

    After working with June’s nutritional program, I noticed eating healthy could taste wonderful and my food cravings diminished and I had more energy.

    My favorite part of working with June was she understands how foods can heal and nourish the body. She shared many delicious recipes that made eating a pleasure. I have enjoyed trying many new foods that I would have never tasted before.

    I have kicked the diet soda habit, eat less processed foods and now eat more vegetables and a wider variety of foods. I have learned to give more thought to what I'm going to eat.
    I now can see how a balanced lifestyle/diet has a direct effect on my moods and energy level. I have also learned that any thing is possible and within my reach. Better health and quality of life. I have lost 11 pounds.

    I decided to meet with June House for nutritional counseling to learn how to decrease my fatigue, heartburn, muscle pain and sleep problems associated with CFS. June helped me stop mono eating and add food to my diet rich in vitamins, anti oxidants and minerals. To my surprise the diet change improved my sleep. This better sleep resulted in more energy and less muscle pain Included in June’s suggestions were vegetables with certain minerals, calcium and magnesium, I have lactose intolerance and was relying too heavily on calcium tablets, which bothered my stomach.
    Through June's focused questions and our discussions she helped me to see some food issues from growing up that related to my food choices. She also helped me to see I needed to slow down (chew my food, not gulp it) and nourish myself on many levels in my life. With this unique “lifestyle” perspective she helped me reduce and manage many symptoms. I feel more confidants in using the knowledge I’ve learned from working with June. My health continues to improve.
