Michael was a total pro! He was super efficient, on time, and friendly. He came to my living room and bathroom to get rid of the mold, and he did an amazing job. Everything was clean and spotless. I hired Richmond Restoration LLC to handle a major mold problem in my basement. Not only was the communication great throughout the process, but they also went above and beyond explaining what caused the mold, finding the root issue, removing it completely, and giving me tips to prevent it from happening again. I literally couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the first message, Mike was helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely nice. He not only could accommodate an earlier date but he also arrived early too.
He identified the problem even before he got there, and it was exactly as he said. Mike is very experienced, and it shows. The work was done efficiently and completely. And, outside of the job evidence itself, it was as if he was never there with how clean he left the work site.
I can’t possibly say enough nice things about Mike and Richmond Restoration. He’s the best - hands down - and, from now on, the only person I’ll call for any air purification or mold services.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I saw an ad in the newspaper when I was in high school. They offered paid training and part time work. I gave it a try and I enjoyed the work. I tried a few other things and saw I like air duct cleaning and mold remediation much more. I have been in the business now since 2006.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers of all different backgrounds and locations.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Seek multiple estimates. Try talking to providers over the phone to get a sense of character before they enter your home.
