Introduction: For over two years, I helped to develop the modern, independent Annapolis-based real estate brokerage, Grace Ryan Real Estate. As Vice President of Operations and a licensed Realtor®, I helped facilitate many transactions and am now selling real-real estate full time! I am proud of the state of the art technology, creative marketing, and wonderful client experience Grace Ryan Real Estate has come to be known for. In addition to a B.A. and over 2 years in the real estate business, I also have: • A paralegal certificate that enables me to understand contracts and explain them thoroughly. • A vast network of industry professionals to help in any type of real estate situation. • An unending desire to learn and grow, both personally and professionally. • Sensitivity to the fact that buying and selling, no matter how experienced the client, can be nerve wrecking...and an ability to carry the stress for my clients, allowing them the smoothest experience possible. • An extensive background in marketing, social media, and real estate technologies. • An open mind to think outside the box and find a solution that works for my clients in both the short-term and the long-term. I enjoy learning through serving. No matter how much I research or how long I've been in real estate, I will never know it all. I enjoy the challenges with each person I encounter. A lot of my days are spent solving puzzles for clients, so I know I'm able to meet every challenge with a way to resolve it. Every client is unique, and getting to work with so many different people is truly exciting!

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? There is no cost for an initial meeting and, at Grace Ryan Real Estate, we don't charge any other fees to clients either. The way I get paid is when a home sale closes. Commission rates vary and can not, by law, be standardized. Commission rates can be discussed if you choose to work with me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First I need to meet with the client and find out their needs, wants, timeline, and general goals. Each purchase or sale is different no matter which way you look at it. Once I have all of this information, I have a better idea what our next steps will be. I always send a follow-up email after an initial meeting to review my notes and ensure we are on the same page. From there, it's a matter of streamlining the focus and getting on each others' schedules for appointments and showings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have my state issued real estate license, which I had to pass a class and exam to receive and must complete continuing education to maintain. Additionally, I have a background in marketing and research, a paralegal certificate, a college education, and some financial background. This combination of skills and experience makes me well versed in most aspects of real estate that will be faced by both buyers and sellers.
