Rob seems to be a jack of all trades who understands how things work and will perform small jobs. He installed adjustable shelving in my pantry and a bedroom closet. There were metal strips with brackets and the laminated shelving had to be custom cut. The pantry was tricky because there was an immoveable bracing board in the back, so each shelf had to have a notch cut into it to fit against the wall. The finished product is exactly what I wanted. The shelves are perfectly level in both the pantry and the closet. He worked very neatly and paid a lot of attention to measuring and cutting. I also hired him to assemble a large desk which I ordered from a catalog. It has five file drawers and a slide-out keyboard holder. He unpacked the boxes and assembled the desk perfectly. He was very careful to ensure that the cherry finish didn’t get scratched during assembly. I have also seen some of his other work. He builds cornhole boards and finishes them with custom colors and logos. He creates original signs for basement bars and game rooms using fine hardwoods, hand carving, and a router. He seems to have a real talent for fine woodworking.

It was my first time using thumbtack. Needed someone to help make the pax wardrobe at my moms place. I reviewed a lot of quotes and I didn’t end up going with the person with the most reviews. Tim had the 2nd most reviews, background check, called me directly to see if I was still looking, and even offered to help with throwing the boxes away after the assembly. I had pax closets assembled for my mom. I assisted Tim with little things here and there... he was so friendly and easy to talk to... mom even made us dinner ( kimchi fried rice!). It took a little longer than expected but these were 92 inch high wardrobes and I had 3 of them. The doors were all aligned. Nothing broke. Everything turned out great. If Tim is around when mom moves I would def ask him to come back to disassemble them. Such a pleasure to work with! Hard working man!

To start, John came out on a Saturday to give me an estimate on the scope of work I needed to have done. John and Joe removed a reach in closet and a partial wall, to open up that space in a small bedroom. The project included re adjusting electrical on that wall, as well as the TV cable. They installed/ replaced the moulding and painted the entire room. They also installed a new system in my walk in closet, and replaced the closet and bedroom doors. Aside from the closet system and flooring which I needed to match to the old flooring, John took care of purchasing all supplies and equipment. They finished in less than the projected time. I am beyond pleased with the final project and would definitely recommend Complete Home Services to family and friends. I also plan to hire them again in the future.

Jenrri from Ordinez Home Improvement was awesome and I highly recommend him. I had receding lights put in, a light from the ceiling and porch light fixed. A few hours, reasonably priced and he cleaned up after the work was done. Very professional!

Cristian was great. Assembled furniture, installed closet shelving, did some nice wallpapering too. He worked quickly. He was also very honest about his skills, advising that i should use a different expert for some other tasks I had to do bc he thought someone else could do a better job for me. Would hire again!

I just purchased a new home and wanted the entire house painted before I moved in the following weekend. Marvin came out to see me on Sunday . I was comfortable with his quote and time frame for completion which was 4-5 days . I emphasized I wanted my house painted before I moved in the following Sunday . He assured me it would be done by Friday . It was done by Friday . Marvin and his crew , painted, changed light fixtures, electrical face plates, and put recess lights and shelves in a closet in my man cave. Marvin was professional from start to finish. Thanks Marvin

Steve is an amazing carpenter with a creative eye and mindset. There doesn't seem to be much he couldn't do. We added picture moulding, closet shelving, hanging mirrors, tv mounts to our list. All done flawlessly

Paul's work was excellent. He came on-site to provide an estimate then performed the work exactly as he described. The price was very reasonable. He removed the old damaged drywall, installed 2x6 support boards between the frames then hung and painted new drywall and reinstalled the closet shelving with new support brackets. The closet shelves will never fall again! :-) The job site was always thoroughly cleaned before he left for the day. A true professional.

After a heavy storm, we had water leaking from our lights in the kitchen and from our electric panel in our basement! I called MJ Home Services and Dale came out the next day to investigate the leaks. He quickly turned around an estimate to fix both issues as I told him I wanted to fix the issues ASAP. Prices were very reasonable and he insisted on finding the cause of the leaks instead of assuming the obvious (the bay window in the kitchen). The "obvious" cause of the leak wasn't actually the problem after his investigation as Dale found that the problem was actually the window on the next level up. It was allowing water in and running down the brick into the kitchen drywall ceiling. I couldn't be happier that we chose MJ home services to complete the repairs and everything was fixed way beyond my expectations. Also, the coordination of service by Melissa was amazing.

Chris was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about placement. He asked which pictures we would like to see daily and suggested maybe putting them in the bedroom so we could wake up to them. He put a family wall on the staircase so we could see them going up the stairs. He hung art in the living room, dining room, bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms all strategically placed for maximum light and viewing from different angles. He took into account which pieces would compliment the type of room they were was placed in. We had over 100 pictures and pieces of art, which took over 7 hours to arrange and hang. Chris was a total pro, he powered through and finished the job. We are so happy with every room. We will definitely hire him again as we acquire more pieces of art!!!

The job Julius the CEO of Gotes construction did for me was outstanding. He built a closet for my 2 children and paid attention to all the specific details I gave him. I also told him to paint my children's room with 4 different colors and he exceeded my expectations. I will use him again and recommend him to all my family and friends.

Robert was fantastic, I highly recommend his services. He works hard to get the job done, and the final product is always perfect. He completes complicated jobs in a very short time, and his pricing is excellent. He is professional and punctual. He successfully assembled a queen bed and a crib, installed closet doors, shifted furniture, installed a door handle and drawer knobs, and cleverly solved a problem I was having with a defective box spring, among other jobs. I would definitely hire him again and highly recommend his services.

Price wasn't the lowest, but doing my research I found Brad to be the highest rated, and found lots of pictures of pervious work. Others who offered lower prices didn't show as much knowledge or experience compared to Brad, who went the extra mile of explaining everything he thought I should have done and why. All those high ratings were dead on, friendly, worked within my budget, and the level of work was high quality. Had them regrade my backyard and install sod. They even went the extra mile as to buy and place edgers to make the regrade look even better around my deck and basement stairs. Money well spent, period. Hire them, I would again in a heartbeat.

My experience with Mike was awesome from my initial email to the minute he completed the work. It is difficult to find a contractor who is honest, knowledgeable, fair, professional, and friendly. Mike is the total package and no job is too big or too small for him. My closet shelving and hanging rods fell to the floor one morning. One company said it fell because it was cheap shelving and quickly provided a $745 solution. Mike saw that it wasn't the shelving but that it was installed incorrectly. He was able to reuse the shelving and recommended a way to increase use of space in the closet. He ended up improving both closets in that room, and 3 other small projects I had been unable to address; and the price was right! Mike is now my "go to" contractor for all projects in my home. I trust him, his knowledge and his work!

We contracted with Larry's Squash Blossom Remodeling to enlarge our master bath (including converting the bath to a walk-in shower) and create a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. This was done using Snapfish via an Angie's List concierge service. The job lasted 3.5 weeks, which was within the agreed-upon time-frame. Larry's design for the project was excellent, and his subcontractors proved to be terrific -- skilled, usually on-time, hardworking, pleasant and careful about cleaning up. Although there were a few glitches in material procurement, Larry was usually on top of the process and conscious of our deadlines. Regarding what could have been better, our only reservation was that Larry did not communicate up-front what our material procurement responsibilities were in terms of the project's timeline. It would have been more efficient (and less stressful) if we had at the start of work gotten a list of those items we ourselves needed to find and buy. Although Larry could be a bit prickly at times, we have been more than pleased with the results.

Jorge and his crew did a fantastic job on the renovation of my 45 year-old luxury home. He completely remodeled 3 bathrooms and a large basement, adding walls and a laundry room. He replaced all hardware and lighting throughout my home. He can do it all! Jorge has a wonderful sense of design, thoughtfully and carefully completing each and every task. Simply, he cares about the high quality of his work. I feel very fortunate to have worked with Torres Renovation and would hire them again in a second!

Mr Alvarado was great. He was able to build a closet in the basement around our washer/dryer and put up new drywall in 2 days for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend to anyone for any project.
