Our 5 month old is training to be a service dog. Although training feels slow we do understand it all takes time. We are excited about our pup's progress and her future as a service dog. Denise knows a lot about her craft. She's taught us many things already and I know all our hard work/dedication will pay off in the end. We are both disabled and Denise has been great in accepting payments when many other trainers were not flexible. For that one aspect alone it was a plus for us in being able to afford training for our pup trained.

We are just beginning our training together. I have confidence based on Denises attentiveness, demeanor, communication, and experience that we will have success in correcting behavior and teaching me how to better communicate with my dog. Our evaluation session alone was very informative and comfortable. I look forward to our lessons. I will update once we have completed working on our issues.

I've had Denise over for two sessions so far for my puppy who's been exhibiting some amount of fear aggression towards other dogs. Two sessions in, I'm already walking having progess walking her while others are walking their dogs. She's also helped my daughter walk her with more control so that she too can walk her and have her in a good spot next to our side. Very happy I've chosen her, two more sessions to go when we will test her near more dog-populated locations but so far so good! This was way more effective for us than the classroom setting dog training I went to for a few weeks. I learned a lot from that class as well, but it didn't address my particular issues. Denise can see what she does in my home setting and in my neighborhood which is very different than a classroom where my dog is not her normal self because she was stressed by the other dogs in the class. Glad I called so far!

We offer in home private lessons to focus on you and your dog's specific issues. We also offer 2, 3 and 4 week board and train options which include the training collar, a go home lesson and follow up lessons in the comfort of your home.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer an initial evaluation or free phone consult where your goals are outlined and a customized training program is worked out with you and your dog in mind.
