Denise was great, very friendly, love that she came to my house, that made it super convenient for my schedule and also a comfortable atmosphere that my dog was used 2. She is very knowledgeable and able to demonstrate training techniques clearly. Would definitely recommend

My dog was so reactive towards other dogs that it was quite embarrassing walking him. I tried to time our walks to when there would be the least amount of dogs out at that time.when we came upon another dog, my dog would lunge, bark, snarl and totally unresponsive to my commands. I had to literally drag him by his leash with his toenails scraping the ground. I did not look forward to our morning walks at all! I definitely needed help! This is where Denise comes in. I hired her for 5 lessons. Not only does she train your dog but she also trains you on the proper techniques to train your dog. At first, she shows you what to do and then when you take the leash, she lets you know if you’re doing it wrong and reminds you of how to accomplish the technique. After the first lesson, my dog Sven, was walking so much better on leash and he learned to stay in his bed when someone came to the door. Lesson 2, we walked my neighborhood and come upon some dogs and while not perfect, he was soooo much better! I was more confident on our walks knowing I had the knowledge to control the situation before it got out of hand. Lesson 3, we went to Petco so he could be in a situation where was seeing a steady flow of dogs. He was amazing! He walked right by them! No barking, no lunging, just focused on what his job was. He is 1000 times better! I enjoy our walks now! Denise was/is the answer I needed! We still have 2 more lessons left. I can’t wait! If you have a dog that sounds like mine, then I highly recommend hiring Denise! She is worth every penny she earns! This was hands down the best money I’ve ever spent!

What a tremendous difference on our dog! She was undergoing training at a facility - where she did okay, but at home she just didn't listen. After the first lesson with Denise we noticed a major change in her behavior. Denise is very patient and gave us all the tools to continue the disciple once she was gone. Plus she's always available over phone. Strongly recommend!

Denise was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely patient with our nervous wreck of a border collie! I would definitely recommend her to any dog owner seeking anything from fine tuning to total behavior modification. Denise instilled confidence in our dog as well as in us and our ability to be effective handlers. Denise was extremely flexible with scheduling and location, and truly worked her magic with our dog. Clover is now much more calm and comfortable with new situations and people - a change we began to notice after only the first session. I will definitely be looking to Denise again for any training in the future. We learned so much from her in our sessions together. I am a much more relaxed and confident handler, and will continue to use the methods Denise taught us. I can’t say enough good things about her! She truly knows what she’s doing!

Denise has been a true blessing to us. Our Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) has not been able to be around new people since he turned 2 (he is now 4). He is a very fearful passive aggressive dog. He was well socialized and trained as a pup but as he got older he just changed and would growl, lung and bark at people. We were very uncomfortable having people around him. When Denise first met him he greeted her with threatening growls and nasty side eye glances. She assessed him and we came up with a plan of training. We did various exercises with him and soon Denise was able to take the leash and work him. We decided to transition him from leash work to an e-collar. We had been very hesitant to put such a collar on a fearful dog but Denise put us at ease and walked us through it and we have been hugely successful with it. By the 4th session Denise was greeted like an old pal. She was able to pet and interact with him and he was extreamly relaxed around her. We actually cancelled that session and reschedule for a more intense training with some new people and the dreaded doorbell. We are very happy to report that session was a huge success. Denise has provided us with extremely valuable training tools and we are confident that we can have people over again! We will continue with Denise and his training and would highly recommend her to anyone who has an aggressive/fearful dog. Denise knows dogs and can handle herself even with the largest beasts. Our Cane Corso is 150 lbs. Thank you Denise and we look forward to continue to work with you and help build his confidence!

    We offer in home private lessons to focus on you and your dog's specific issues. We also offer 2, 3 and 4 week board and train options which include the training collar, a go home lesson and follow up lessons in the comfort of your home.

    We offer an initial evaluation or free phone consult where your goals are outlined and a customized training program is worked out with you and your dog in mind.
