Introduction: While I feel confident in my ability to help students excel in a variety of subjects, I personally find it most rewarding to work with teenagers preparing for standardized testing and applying for college. This period can be extremely important for a young person's future success, and I know firsthand how overwhelming the pressure to succeed can get when you feel like you have to face it alone. With my passion for writing, I can aid my charges in overcoming character limits and the discomfort of talking about themselves, allowing their personal statements to express their best selves in an eloquent and concise manner. For standardized testing, I can use my experience to provide tips, not only to improve vocabulary, reading and math skills but also about how to deal with the unique problems caused by the nature of these tests. Whatever assistance you may need, I am here to help. I offer one-hour, 90-minute, and two-hour sessions. Quoted prices are negotiable.
