Latoya was very sweet, kind, gentle, and professional. We loved her work quality. My family said face painting was a hit and everyone loved her. LaToya was AMAZING!! The price was perfect and the work was outstanding. My brother and I had our faces painted like skulls for our voodoo doctor costumes for Mardi Gras. So many people were impressed with the paint job. The face paint as well as the dress up details won us first prize. Thank you so much for your help in making our day awesome!! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I discuss the event or project with my clients, gathering all details and creating a timeline for deliverables (sketches, design ideas) if applicable. A contract is then drawn up including all terms and conditions for both parties. I typically take a deposit, sent by invoice with the contract attached. Once the deposit is received, the event/project is booked and/or confirmed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BFA in Fine Art and a Masters in Teaching from Maryland Institute College of Art.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been creating art in some form for most of my life. Creating things has always been my focus for as long as I can remember.
