This was the worst company I ever used, I used xpress in September 2013 moving from Oxon Hill to Greenbelt Maryland. My appointment time was at 8am they didn't arrive until 1145am, I was pissed couldn't reach Thomas until about 9am and he said they was on there way they was lost, he stated they was in Elliott city and will be there in 20 mins, that's bullshit, when they arrived it was 2 movers and I should have had 3 to move a two bed room apartment, they didn't have any supplies. I even had all the boxes and mostly everything downstairs in the building they only had to go upstairs and get the computer desk, the bed and dining room table. Once in Greenbelt my brothers was waiting to help unload the truck, we finish about 5pm and Thomas manage to call my total was like 580, I gave them 280 and sent them on there way. I will never use this company again, ashamed we can't use our own ppl to get nothing done. Ps the to movers that came where great and didn't get the call until 9am I the day of the move where Thomas left message and yes I heard it.

I wish I could give less stars. I bought a Living Social deal for XPress movers in May for a move in July from Crofton to Baltimore. It took me about 5 days to actually speak to someone to schedule the move - first red flag. When he scheduled, he told me he would also charge a $75 fuel fee - on top of the $115 LivingSocial voucher - something not in the fine print anywhere - second red flag. I contacted LivingSocial about this immediately - it took them two weeks to "resolve" this - we ended up agreeing to pay $35 instead of $75, A few days before the 7/10 move that I clearly scheduled WELL in advance, he did call to confirm the appointment. It looked like things were on track. Then, 8 am, on 7/10, the actual moving day, I get a call "oh um there's an emergency and we have to reschedule cuz um yeah let's reschedule." Nope. I told him I had to move that day and that I needed a refund which LivingSocial graciously worked out quickly despite the fact that the merchant had marked my voucher as redeemed before ever providing a service. As everyone else has said, don't waste your time or money. It's a good deal, but not if you don't get service. And it's certainly not worth the stress. Hopefully LivingSocial won't work with them (him? I have a feeling it's a one man operation as others have mentioned) again, and I will be looking into BBB to see what more I can do. Not cool.

Unfortunately issue's do arise that is beyond our control. We worked to resolved the matter as best as possible. We know that we cannot please everyone, however we can and do provide the absolute best service our industry has to offer to each and every family

Shady characters who came to move me. Took them four hours to move very little furniture into an efficiency apartment. Then, when they were all done said they would only accept cash. And I was provided with NO receipt. I highly doubt this company is bonded or has insurance. Don't trust them with your move!!

No one and two jobs are the same, and we accept all forms of payment, with the exception of personal checks. We are licensed ,, bonded and insured. I am displeased that you were unsatisfied with the service you received. And, we do thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be of service to you.

Yep pretty much what everyone else said. I would give negative five stars if I could. I had an appt for 8am on a Sunday morning and 5 hours later its a no call, no show. I shouldve known better when it took days to even get someone on the phone and the confirmation email i was promised never came. Don't waste your time.

***WARNING* ***** Please do not do business with these guys. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever done business with. I have asked for over a week for information showing that they were licensed and bonded still haven't received that information. They were suppose to show up at my house at 6 pm today however no one has arrived. I have called then numerous times with no response and the answering machine is full. Please, please, please don't waste you time or money it's honestly isn't worth it.
