Samera was very nice throughout the whole process. She did what she was supposed to do but did not go above and beyond. Many times she asked if she everything was to my satisfaction. However, I feel that I shouldn't have to follow a cleaner around and review their work. After she left I found multiple places that I felt had not even been touched (i.e. lights, ceiling fans which we had discussed, behind the dining room table). I found myself going back and recleaning some. Also, although she is nice, at times she comes across as not the most professional. She was on her cell phone the entire time and I couldn't tell whether she was talking to me or the person on the other line. While after the cleaning, she was waiting for a ride and sat in my house for approximately 45 minutes, which had me feeling like I had to entertain her. Overall, I would say you should definitely negotiate a better price if you want an average house cleaning.

Yesterday I used Samera and her assistant for what I can truly say was one of the most deplorable conditions I have ever seen in the house my son was moving into. We're talking trash and food in each and every room and rotting food in fridge. When she saw it, we discussed a price adjustment as it was way worse than even real bad. I had not yet seen it myself so did not know. I was more than happy to pay her more as of course that was fair. We ended up both happy. She literally had to mop floors three times that water was so dirty after each time- that's how bad it was. I will continue to use her and am referring her to some college age parents for their students right now! She was never complaining and did the awful work cheerfully and with a great attitude!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

April of last year my grandmother had went on life support. Due to her condition I made the decision to give up my apartment & move in with her. So that I could help take care of her & the house. Now I had lived with my grandmother two years prior. During that time I had learned a lot from grandmother especially when it came to housekeeping. My grandmother taught me how to really pay attention to details & to pay attention to the things that the average person neglects. Such as the ceiling. The average person pays the ceiling little to know mind, but not my grandmother. She made it her business to make me clean the ceiling four times a year (every time the season change). Most importantly she taught me that cleaning is what you make it. It can be therapeutic, a chore, or a job. Only you control how you view it. Moreover due to her health condition I needed to do something that I not only loved & enjoyed but something that allowed me to be home with her as much as possible. That's when R.E.D Cleaning Services LLC was born.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Go for the person that is seems/is the most sincere. Your home/business is equivalent to your child. Just like you wouldn't allow any ole body watch your kid; you shouldn't allow any ole body inside of your home.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Cleaning can & will be whatever you make it. It can be a chore, it can be a job, or it can simply be therapeutic.
