I have 14 years of experience as a personal trainer. I have a no-nonsense and firm approach with my clients in order to get the time-tested goal-oriented results were working for. Whether you need to lose weight, tone-up, build endurance or meet a specific goal for a vacation, a wedding or a job necessity, I provide the discipline and the designed program to meet your needs. I just started working with Russel and he is amazing! I have worked out in the past on my own with DVDs and just hitting the gym, but never with a trainer and Russel has given me a great first impression of trainers. I'm not new to working out, but I haven't worked out in quite some time (about 6 months) and he has the patience of Job! I lack coordination and focus and in just a few days he has given me the strength, confidence, and motivation to know that I can achieve my goals and get better day by day. He often has to change workouts on the spot to accommodate my skill and strength level, which shows his commitment to me as a client, but also his ability to be flexible and to tailor exercises based on individual need. I have a goal of losing 20lbs and with that being stronger, healthier and happier with my mind, body, and spirit and I know that working with Russel will help me achieve my goals.

Russel is, hand down, the best! I started looking for a personal trainer after deciding to make some serious lifestyle changes and having very little experience with working out. I have been very pleased with working out with Russel. I can honestly say that hiring him was the best decision, health wise that I have made in quite some time. He is very knowledgeable and he listens to what your goals and needs are. He is also very pleasant to train with as he makes working out enjoyable. It like working n out with a friend or family member rather a coach as some trainers have been. I will be definitely recommending him to everyone I know!!! Without a doubt it has been money well spent!!!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The first process is to accurately assess the clients current state of health, i.e. any history of diabetes, heart condition(s), hypertension, etc;., This is to determine any physical limitations that may be inherent and/or counterproductive to ne or more exercises.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Do your homework. Check references and be comfortable with asking all the questions you need to feel comfortable with your Personal Trainer.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    I am a multifaceted individual. I've toured 73 countries as a Professional Musician. I am a Composer/Music Producer of currently nine CD's of Music in genres of contemporary jazz, Brazilian, country & western, rock, latin, traditional jazz & classical music. I am an Author as well as a Domestic Violence Awareness Advocate and on the Board of Directors of three nationally recognized DV Organizations.
