I had the pleasure of meeting with the most amazing person yesterday. Erika Howell. She was very knowledgeable about caring for dogs. Her personality was very enthusiastic and caring. My dog King took to her very quickly. Now when I say her name he gets very excited and looks for her.

I am so thrilled to have discovered Kats & Pooches! Erika and her team are skilled, friendly, organized, and clearly love animals and have a passion for caring for them. It's always hard to leave my sweet cat alone when I travel, but since finding Erika, I don't stress about going out of town like I used to do. Kats & Pooches is very dependable--I receive reports and photos after every visit, and my care and feeding instructions are always followed. I feel very safe leaving my pet with Erika!

My family appreciated the care that Erika gave to all of our pets while we were away. This was our first time using her company. We had a dog sitter once before and it did not work out so well. This was a completely different experience. The meet and greet gave us comfort in knowing that all of our animals would be well taken care of. Throughout our trip, she was responsive. One of our dogs has a few medical issues, but Erika was not phased and handled him with the care we hoped for.

I want to thank Erika and her mom, Nikita for taking great care of my puppy, Coco while I was away for 4 days. I felt at peace the entire time I was away. They continued Coco's potty training, took her for walks; taught her to walk up and down the stairs without a leash. They sent me videos of Coco's progress. Most importantly I arrived home to a happy puppy and my home was properly cared for. If you're looking for someone that will love your pet and be at ease while traveling, look no further. I definitely will be using their services again for other upcoming travel plans and for additional training.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With our services we do charge per pet / per service day ( not per 24hrs ). We do provide discounts as well for additional pets. We will explain more in depth during our meeting.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we do a meet & greet face to face so that we can get to know our clients and our new fur friends! We discuss what their expectations of us are and what do we have to do in order to take care of their pets & their home. We ask questions about your animal’s behavior and if they are up to date with their shots.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
