Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I teach in a very laid-back, yet highly effective manner. I am extremely encouraging to my students and constantly think of ways I can improve my teaching, in order for my students to get the most out of their lessons. My goal is for all who take lessons from me to not only learn the piano well, but also to enjoy the process as well. I love witnessing the excitement my students have when they master what at the beginning may have seemed like an unattainable task. Also, it is very encouraging to witness the 'lightbulb' moment that occurs when my students actually understand how everything in music comes together.

Piano Lessons

FAQs

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The Summer of 2014, I taught Piano to Dance Students at a Dance Academy. The ages of the girls (and a couple of boys) ranged from 3 - 13 years of age. It was quite a challenge, for this was my first time teaching 'group lessons'. Adding more to the challenge was the fact that the students were extremely rambunctious, to say the least. With God's help, I was able to teach them all, and was so pleased at their performance at the Recital that occurred at the end of the summer. WHEW! What an experience!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is important to find a good match between student and teacher. It may take a couple of tries before one finds the right teacher.
