The job was extensive and included the front and backyard as well as a larger pond. Pluses: the company owner made good suggestions on plants which was helpful, the clean up was great, the crew worked very hard and were courteous, friendly and helpful, overall the landscape looked good, albeit short the amount of river stone to finish the beds in their entirety. A few lessons learned: be sure you know what you want and where you want it. Plan to be home because as the customer you provide a lot of direction. It would be ideal if a site walk through was done between the company owner, home owner and the foreman ahead of time in the event the homeowner is not available or is not able to be constantly available to ensure everyone is on the same page. Check to ensure the plants you expected are what you received, that the material quantity needed is calculated in advance and sufficient to complete the job, and that it is very clear that what you expected to be done is in the contract to avoid any confusion or assumptions.

I had these guys to come and repair a badly weather-worn and under maintained koi pond of around 1000 gallons. They were prompt, very professional and knowledgeable. It was an awesome experience overall, and as a result, I signed up for their quarterly maintenance package. Great company.

They did a very good job on a difficult job. They encountered and solved unexpected conditions and still finished the job within the original estimate. Arrived on time and promptly went to work and kept me informed of the progress being made. Before leaving they made suggestions on maintaining the pond in the future.

We have been clients of ILD for nearly 20 years. They designed, and maintained our grounds, gardens, ponds & water features, including the landscaping for two distinctly different homes. The owners of ILD are on the job from design consultation to hands on working the grounds, and paying attention to every detail that goes into the overall plan until completion. They are a start to finish company that stands behind their work and maintains a personal relationship with their customers. No job is too small or too large. When we moved an hour away from the home where ILD designed and maintained our gardens we had an occasion to consider other landscapers only to swiftly return to ILD as their customer service, quality, and overall skill set are second to none.

Our yard was fully sodded by our builder. Shortly after that we had an in-ground sprinkler system installed and much of the sod died where it was folded out of the way while the trenches were being dug for the sprinkler lines. We also had low areas in the yard where there was poor drainage. We needed a professional to analyze the drainage situation and also repair the areas where the sod didn't make it. We also needed the grass cut for the first time since the sod was laid. Chris of Four Seasons Nursery & Landscape Services came to our home and assessed the situation. He made recommendations for all the problems. Chris is very knowledgeable on the subject of grass and lawn problems. He recommended that the initial cut of the grass be done in three stages: cut and rake, cut and rake, cut and leave the clippings. This was done a few days after Chris was on site for the analysis. He also recommended raking the dead grass from the trench areas, applying top soil, seeding, and applying curlex. He also wanted to coordinate with someone from the company that put in the sprinkler system so the heads could be marked and raised after the low areas were corrected. We were definitely impressed with Chris' knowledge. He arrived on time the day of our initial appointment. We look forward to working with him on the remainder of the project to get our yard looking perfect!!

Premier Ponds did a wonderful job helping get my pond ready for winter. They arrived exactly when they said they would, took care of a clogged line, emptied and cleaned the whole pond, cut back and/or hauled away the pond plants, checked all the mechanicals, and left me with a very clean pond and lots of happy goldfish. They also design ponds and pond features, and supply plants. Very pleasant people to work with. I recommend highly.

About

My name is Matthew Willis. I'm a licensed general contractor with more than seven years of experience. I'm actually a carpenter by trade, so there's really nothing on a home that I can't fix. My company specializes in bathrooms, kitchens and additions. We cater to people who have high standards and expect a high-quality job for a reasonable price. These are the secret questions you ask your contractor. This is the inside stuff. You can't come up with this. Only a contractor can come up with this stuff. This is the stuff that contractors either don't want to be asked or they do want to be asked! The frequently asked questions are as follows: 1: How long will the job take? It's going to depend on your job. Bathrooms typically take between six days and a month. A) A kitchen Typically, a kitchen will last at least three weeks. Usually, there's a couple days in between when you can actually install the cabinets and put the countertop on. That's the only time that can be different between three and seven days. So, you're looking at about three weeks to a month for a typical kitchen. B) An addition It completely depends on the size of the addition. Most additions are gonna take between two months and six months. You could pretty much build a new house within six or seven months, so it shouldn't take longer than that. C) Siding This will take a couple of days, one of the other common jobs that we have. D) Flooring It takes two to three days. Most small projects are gonna be two to three days, depending on the punch list.
