If you want delicious food at an affordable price, you want Chef Kev! Im am surly the pickiest eater there is, but Chef Kev got the best of me! We hired Chef Kev to provide the food for a networking event that we hosted. As an event planning company, we have had the chance to taste food from many different caterers throughout the Maryland, DC and VA area, but Chef Kev is among the best! His food made all the difference for our event and we cannot wait to begin referring our clients too him! (I should also mention how professional, and neat he was. He left the venue looking better than when he got there!)
Maribel, Noel, and company catered our wedding at a private venue in Fairfax, VA. They exceeded far above and beyond our wildest dreams and expectations for our wedding. Everything from set-up, food, and breakdown went so smooth and without a single hitch. They catered to our every need and made the place look immaculate. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better company. Maribel and Noel are the absolute best!
Angie of Honey Do Wedding and Event Planners was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. She was affordable (especially for a student and military wedding) but always made us feel like her number one clients. Not only was she a great value, but she went over and above what we were expecting. We hired her to be our day of coordinator, but we met with her on a regular basis and she always responded to all calls, texts, and emails. Angie is incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and has connections with various other wedding vendors. As a same sex couple, she never treated us any differently than an opposite-sex couple, and she actually was great at recognizing the subtle differences that come with having two brides. At our first meeting at a potential venue, Angie came prepared with examples of her work and binder with all of our info. She even printed out new forms that said bride and bride instead of bride and groom. These small but significant touches are what make Angie stand out among other wedding planners. She helped us negotiate with vendors to get better prices and confirmed all vendors the week of, lifting a lot of the stress off of our shoulders. We can't speak highly enough of Angie and the Honey Do family!
I highly recommend Shore is Delicious, Catering by Teresa. I contracted with Teresa to cater an after (Wedding) reception party at my house in Gambrills. Teresa was extremely helpful in helping me decide what menu would be appropriate, providing suggestions and alternatives during the planning process. Teresa was very easy to get a hold of when needed, and responded with the answers to my questions very quickly. A majority of the food that Teresa served to my 65 guests was hand made, and it was absolutely delicious! Teresa's cooking skills and ability to create a balanced menu were impressive. Teresa and her crew were on time, and had the area set-up and ready to go by the time my guests started to arrive after the wedding reception. She went out of her way by providing tasteful table coverings and center pieces, even thought I did not ask for those. The quality of her work was excellent! Aside from the delicious food, the most impressive attribute of Teresa's catering service was their willingness to provide the "Complete Service." Teresa prepared all of the food, delivered it, served it and stayed until the end, making sure that the area was 100% clean and in order before she left. In addition, Teresa brought along a crew of helpers that provided anything that was needed to ensure that my guests had a good time. When researching for caterers, this was tough to find. Most wanted to make the food, put it on the tables and go. Not Teresa. In closing, I highly recommend and without reservation Shore is Delicious, Catering by Teresa for anyone's catered event. We hired Lisa to be our on-site wedding coordinator a month before the big day, and she jumped right in and helped everything run smoothly and efficiently. She worked with the on-site staff to decorate and prepare the venue and she did a great job. Would recommend Lisa to others.

I first had the pleasure to work with Mommy a la Carte during my surprise baby shower. Tamika planned engaging games for us to play along with every detail of the celebration from securing the venue to the catering. When it was time for my son to arrive, Mommy a la Carte helped me plan the design of my son's nursery and to consider some of the details I wasn't even thinking about! My son's room turned out great and was functional for sleeping, changing, and those late night feedings. Mommy a la Carter helped me with the planning of my son's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd birthday parties. Tamika worked with me to flesh out ideas and think about the most creative solutions. All three birthday parties for my son turned out great! Tamika was very easy to work with was patient with me as I asked questions and she provided very thorough responses. I was impressed with her creativity and ability to 'think outside of the box.' I look forward to continuing to work with Mommy a la Carte in the future as my son gets older.
I had the best surprise 21st birthday party thanks to O&O Events. The quality of service was amazing from the DJ, to the open bar, and the decor of the venue. Amelia made sure to execute all of the requests that were made to make sure I was 100% satisfied. All of the companies she worked with were also amazing! She doesn't work with anyone who is below standard. I will definitely be going through this company again for all future events! Thank you again!!
We hired Minute Events Catering for our wedding. From the beginning we met with Chantel to get a vision of what we wanted and how they can help. We decided on a couple brunch options and unlimited mimosas. Chantel provided her advice and past experiences to help us make some last minute changes, that ended up saving us some money at the end. Our tasting with Chef Steve was delicious the chicken and waffles was perfect, and the sweet tea was to die for. With us coordinating this out of town, he went out of his way to make sure we squeezed the tasting in on a Sunday, even though they aren't open on Sundays. Chef Steve was sweet and not too intrusive. He offered his advice without pushing us in one direction or another. He asked if we liked to make any changes to how the food was prepared, and he delivered on those changes on the big day. They were prompt for the final walkthrough at the venue and sent in the floor plan. They called to make sure we understood how everything was going to go on the big day. On the actual day, they arrived on time and provided the services we were contracted. The food was amazing and our guests loved the chicken and waffles and salmon especially. They made sure we got our food first with all of the options, and they had set aside several of our speciality drinks for us. Thanks again to Chef Steve, Chantel, and Minute Events for making our day special!
