I bring compassion, excellence, and passion into every class I teach. My private classes are tailored specifically to each individual students’ needs and preferences. I specialize in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Restorative/Yin yoga, and have experience teaching all levels- from seniors to kids to active adults. After my class, you’ll feel stronger and more flexible physically and mentally, while also relaxed and at peace with yourself and the world.

Working with Barri is always a fun challenge, and I always leave feeling open, strong, stable, and confident about my body. Her direction is present, but not overbearing, and I always hear at least one cue that completely changes my paradigm of how to move or hold my body in a certain position or transition. Barri is an excellent listener, and knows how to push you gently, and encourage you to transcend perceived limits. She holds space expertly, and the amount of growth I have seen since starting to see her is shocking, to say the least. Thank you Barri!

I’ve been taking private yoga classes with Barri for almost 6 months and all I can say is that she is amazing. She teaches intuitively, challenges you just enough, and helps you move your body in how your body feels on certain days. Barri’s classes are unique, are judgement free, and she just holds space for you so beautifully.
