Dennis Buchanan removed my old rusty security door and installed a new security door for me. He went above and beyond to meet my needs. He came here measured my door (at no extra charge). Helped me find the right lock for it. Went to the Home Depot and picked up my door. Came here and installed it on a day when his truck broke down, but because I asked, he rented a truck and came here first thing to install my door. He did not delay my project despite his full schedule and his truck problem. He did an amazing job. My new security door works great. Dennis even installed white wood panels around the new door. He charged not a penny more than his already very reasonable quote. He deserves 10 stars for being so excellent and so fair. I highly recommend him.

Amazing job on the door. Dennis was amazing from the start helped me figure out what kind of door I needed and explained everything. Had to custom order a door because of sizing issues from Lowes, and it took them almost a month to deliver it, but he stuck with me and came and installed it when it arrived. Installed the door and the door hardware, and everything looks so good.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My basic installation prices Storm doors $150 Security doors $175 Exterior entry doors $500-600depend on if it has side light or not. Patio slider and French doors $600-$700 oversized patio door $800 All prices include basic material and excess material will be brought up during home visit before services our agreed on. I charge $40 to come out and measure doors which is applied to services if you decide to go with my services. Customers is responsible for supplying doors I only supply material needed for the completion of the job
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process is i will quote a rough estimate based on what installation you would like. Then I would schedule a home visit to verify if the job requires excess material. During the home visit I will measure the doors and or windows. I will give you the measurement for you to purchase the doors and or windows for installation.Basic materials are included. For example Trim, sealants and minor wood needs. Some jobs need excess wood which i will inform you about and explain the needs.. After the home visit I will either give you an okay on the original quote or tell you the new quote and schedule a install date.

I started doing installation when I became and contractor for Lowes and home depot.
