I hired John Crandell (aka Jack) to turn a small bedroom into a large walk-in closet. He had to remove the existing closet and entrance door in that room and insert a pocket door into the wall adjoining the Master bedroom to the new walk-in closet. He also installed 4 LED ceiling lights, moved my electric outlets, insulated my attic above the space, and painted the walls and ceiling.
What impressed me the most was his knowledge of the job. His estimates were exact, even finding ways to save me money without sacrificing quality. He understood exactly what I wanted and what was needed to get the job done. He made several helpful suggestions. He went above and beyond to not just give me what I asked for, but to do things right to ensure the work lasts. For instance, re-insulating the attic above the space was his idea because it wasn't up to code and it would save me tons in heating and cooling costs. And after he installed the insulation I noticed a temperature difference immediately!
The work was amazing! I had an interior designer look at the space before I hired Jack. After he had finished, I invited her back over for a second look. She was amazed, not only at how beautiful the space was, but also at the fact that he had done all that work in only a week. I told her what I paid and she said that was a really good deal.
I've never heard of a construction project going so smoothly, but I actually have no complaints. In fact, I am hiring Jack for a few other projects I have on my to-do list.
