Introduction: I have been a personal trainer for over 15 years and have help many people achieve their goals whether it be weight loss, strength training, sports conditioning, and general fitness. my main focus is making sure that you have proper form and range of motion which will help you to reach your goals and also lower the risk of injury. I also work with various pieces of equipment such as resistance bands, free weights, kettlebells, and TRX. My passion for the personal training come from getting in shape for football and track in high school and college to now just staying in shape and learning about different workout techniques.

I watched Melvin train people in the gym for several years before I started working with him, but it was a great decision when I finally started. He is a stickler for proper form and not injuring yourself. He will correct anyone in the gym that he sees risking injury. The workouts are always creative and fun whether it’s traditional strength training, battle ropes, TRX, kettle bells, ladder drills etc. Ive never had a boring workout. I’m stronger and much closer to my goals thanks to Melvin. He also trains other great trainers I’ve seen in the gym. Ive also noticed the parents of teenage athletes working with him a lot as well. Check him out for great, challenging workouts that get results for adults (men and women) and teenage athletes.

Great experience! more than six sessions in and I swear.... every workout has been different and challenging in its own way. Melvin is highly focused on technique during workouts and makes sure you doing each exercise correctly for maximum results.

Melvin always takes the time to ensure you truly know how to do the exercise and the value of it. He cares about his client's health and well-being overall and is extremely personable which is something I like the most. It makes the session fun and engaging — you feel like you’re working out with a friend! He will push you and encourage you to try lifting a heavier weight or to try a new exercise but will never force you if it’s too much at once for you; instead, he will help you gain the ability to lift the heavyweight or get you comfortable with an exercise so it becomes effortless. He wants to help you reach your fitness goal in the safest and healthiest way possible!
