I did a local move (two-bedroom apartment in the suburbs to a one-bedroom apartment in the city). My schedule was busy so I requested a service for both packing AND moving. BAAK came to my apartment and packed all my stuff into boxes I had gotten from Loews. From the moment they arrived, move-in was complete in about 5 hours (10:30-3:30). It took them about 3 hours to pack & load, and 1-2 hours to unload. Now granted, I don’t have a lot of personal stuff so you will have to ask them for a quote.

My biggest concerns were the TV ($3200 75’ Samsung) and my piano ($6500 Kawai). BAAK moved these heavy items with care, wrapping them professionally and loading/unloading them with a dolly. They got these into a high-rise building using a passenger elevator. They placed them exactly where I asked them to go, and I moved in without any major damages to these items.

I would hire them again. I can’t vouch for other people, but if you have clear communication with them — be up front about exactly what you need, your moving situation, any special needs — I can’t imagine many other companies offering better value.

If I could give this company a higher rating and able to select all 5 qualities I would! Everything about the process was amazing. I moved from a 4 bedroom 3 level townhouse to a 3 bedroom 3 level townhouse an hour away EVERYTHING was done in 5 hours that included breaking down the beds and putting them back up, placing everything where I wanted. I will and I am going to use them again.
