Hired Good Vibrations as a karaoke DJ for my mom's 75th birthday surprise party. Found them on here on Thumbtack. My experience from start (coordinating with Vinny) to finish (enjoying DJ Mike Lujan at the party) was outstanding. Vinny was very responsive and easy to deal with and he asssured me that i had no concerns once the contract was in place. DJ Mike was a joy and added to the party atmosphere with great music between multiple karaoke requests by the kids in attendance ("Let it Go" was played/sung twice). Everyone enjoyed the show and he played a great range of genre to appeal to all age ranges that attended (Earth Wind & Fire put everyone in festive mood). He understood the crowd and it showed with many compliments from our party attendees. I highly HIGHLY recommend Good Vibrations and would happily use them again at our next big celebration.

We had to postpone our party one week because of winter weather, and they couldn't have been easier. Cassidy , the DJ, had all the kids dancing the entire evening. Played for 4 hours straight. It was laid back, worry free, and most of all fun...We were able to work together to come up with some very creative ideas for the pictures and accommodations were even made for my 1 year old puppy, a 65 pound Golden Labrador to participate in the session. We hired K to take pictures on our wedding just for one hour, because we only wanted to register the ceremony and a few pictures of our guests. It was a small wedding party. Before the wedding, K made very good suggestions on the photo selection, and provided us with several documents that guided the organization of our wedding photo gallery. K is very knowledgeable of his profession and provided us with good advice. Before the wedding, he was very responsive to our needs and very flexible in meeting our tight schedule. They were great, easy to work to with and really made our reception a night to remember! Their planning system leading up to the event is very easy to navigate and they are always a phone call or email away if you have any questions. My husband and I hired Joe Lee and his colleague Josh Sway for their photobooth services for a personal New Year's Eve event and we were extremely pleased throughout the whole process. They were very responsive via text, phone calls, and emails and offered very fair pricing for the quality of the photobooth and props. Unlike ugly, space-consuming photobooths that are closed-in with a curtain, they offered an open-air solution with beautiful backdrop selections and quality photos. They even worked with me to customize a digital overlay that fit with my "James Bond" party theme and was applied to all of the photos taken at the booth. We opted against having the photos printed and instead chose to have them sent digitally to a twitter feed (text and email options are also available). Along with a great product, these guys offer amazing service as well. They really went above and beyond to personalize our event with the overlay and props that fit our theme and the photobooth was a hit for our party. Even after the event was over, they stayed in contact to provide more ways to personalize our final photos. It also doesn't hurt that these guys are extremely likeable! I am looking forward to working with them again!

We just wrapped a Glow party for our 10yo and Party Favor Photo was an absolute hit at the party! The kids LOVED the booth and the on site photo prints, plus all the digital adds, including free downloads of all the photos in and out of the template, is an amazing bonus. From start to finish they were completely professional and amazing. They designed a beautiful custom template pre-party to match the theme, and the prints are amazing!!!! Our attendant arrived on time and was really patient and nice, despite a constant influx of young kids. She was also was very helpful in ensuring that all heights were captured:-) When our photo booth rental time was almost done, our attendant was amazing and made sure she grabbed our daughter to take photos with as many people as possible for the last 15 mins! She was paying attention and noticed she had not gotten a lot of shots with her. This meant that we ended up with a ton of photos of our daughter and her friends, which we otherwise would not have gotten. I will definitely use them for the next event I have that uses a photo booth. I highly recommend that you use this company for your photo booth rental.

Taja was very friendly and listened to everything the girls were looking for at their double bat mitzvah party. The kids all loved the text ability of the pictures and the LED photo booth. The texting ability was so popular that many kids didn't take their photo strips. She also allowed us to use our party logo as the design for the photo strip! Just to make sure all ran smoothly, Taja sent 2 attendants which was exactly what was needed. They were friendly and helpful. (Especially when the boys got out of control and tried to photo bomb!) Also the photo strip photo album with the metallic pen is a great memory book from the party for the girls. We also have access to all of the pictures on jpeg.

I booked a photobooth rental with Larry Akin for my granddaughter's graduation party and he was absolutely great. He and I kept playing telephone tag for a couple of weeks but luckily he didn't give up on me and I was able to get together with him to tell him exactly what I wanted and he was able to come to my house at the last moment. Glad I went with an open air photo booth because once people saw others taking photo's it got more people to participate which can sometimes be hard at work events. This was, without a doubt, the very best corporate photography experience I've ever had -- and I've been around. :) From the outset of my inquiry on Thumbtack, Dave kept in touch and communicated continuously. His estimate was exactly what I'd hoped. The experience: exceptional and outstanding. This assignment was challenging, having to do 213 professional headshots in 12 hours, as well as shoot candids at our 60th anniversary party. I didn't know how we would do it but David came up with the brilliant idea of having two photographers shooting simultaneously. Not only did it work, but he and his assistant were an utter joy to work with: outgoing, happy, professional, kept a perfect pace, and knew how to put a bunch of introverted engineers at ease. The outcome: beautiful headshots, and fantastic candids. I cannot recommend Dave highly enough. Don't look at anyone else -- he's The Guy!

David was great to work with from the shopping phase to finish. I had a complicated situation - needed to try to replicate a past photographer's backdrop for new photos taken by David. David was very patient and responsive when corresponding with me (many times!) and the 3rd party photographer. His quote was very straightforward and fair, and he even threw me into the headshot lineup and took photos of me (no charge). Upon initially reviewing the work of 4-5 photographers, David's headshots were the most unique and well done, I thought. My husband and I hired Floyds DJ Services for our May 13, 2017, ceremony in Woodbridge, Va. Finding a DJ had proven to be my toughest task during the wedding planning phase. . . that is, until Kacey responded to my request for information. She's pleasant, easy to work with and was always responsive. The constant threat of rain for our outdoor ceremony has us wavering on whether we'd be outdoors or move the ceremony inside. Kacey remind flexible as we didn't make the final call until just hours before the ceremony was to start. We were lucky enough to have BOTH Kacey and her husband, DJ Unknown, for our ceremony and reception. He is a GREAT hype man, and together, they read the crowd and played the right mix of old-school jams (as I requested) and current Top 40 Hits (including a ton of songs from my personal playlist suggestion). DJ Kacey even got on the dance floor to lead the crowd into a line dance and help get the party started. Their sound system was super crisp and there wasn't a single glitch! We had selected a final song to be played, and when it came time, DJ Kacey and DJ Unknown surprised us with a PHENOMENAL send off by having our guests line up in a receiving line to end the day. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Floyd's DJ services was! They were professional, paid attention to detail, kept the party live and got involved with the crowd. My husband threw me a 40th birthday party and they really added to the specialness of my celebration. Everyone commented on how wonderful the music was and they accommodated guests requests as well as my special requests. To top it all off, I had an all green affair and they had beautiful green up lights for me and the DJs wore green too. I thought that was so nice and thoughtful to dress the part. At the end of the night both DJs engaged in nice conversation with my husband and I as they were breaking down their equipment. I was really impressed with the ease and efficiency of the photo booth. It's nice that it's open-air (rather than a closed-in booth) because it allows for larger groups to fit in. The selection of props and the option to have the photos texted directly to the phones of anyone in the picture or whoever else may want the photo, as well as the option to have your 3-photo series sent to you in GIF form was super fun. You can also print your photo immediately, which is nice since there are very rarely opportunities to have hard-copy photos nowadays. Mr. Shuttersworth was highly personable, and very responsive to suggestions or inquiries about how to operate the photobooth system.
