- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I try to attend courses and conferences to stay educated and inspired. Most recently I attended a one day course by Edward Tufte on "Presenting Data and Information" and visited New York for the 99U Conference.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I figured out what I wanted to do in my first year of college, I just didn't realize it. I happened to pick up a textbook and became enthralled with what I saw. After making a note of the class the book was assigned to (a 400 level design course), I began taking the chain of classes that would get me back to the pages of that textbook. Two years later I would change my major to graphic design.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide infographics, logos, business cards, wedding stationery, web design and marketing/advertising collateral. I'm also open to doing some illustration as I've previously created poster and t-shirt graphics.
