Mr. Tsakounis (Thom) is a skilled and caring therapist. We came to "A Quiet Journey Counseling " center for couples counseling. My husband was very reluctant at first, but quickly found Thom to be a supportive and understanding ally. Feeling like Thom "got " him, and us, allowed our work with Thom to progress quickly. As a mental health therapist myself, I have very high expectations for fellow counselors. Thom met or exceeded my expectations! He is well versed in a number of holistic, cognitive behavioral and Gestalt modalities, and a genuinely caring human being. While my husband and I have more work to do, Thom has supported us and given us new tools to communicate more effectively in our relationship. I reccommend Mr. Tsakounis whole-heartedly!

I bought toe readings from Pamela for 5 of my friends. Some of my friends were skeptical at first, but once they read their readings, they were shocked at how accurate and spot on they were. The care and love shown through her words, were noted by all of my friends. They were pleased with the details and guidance given by Pamela and by her passion and desire to help. They are now telling their friends about the fabulous toes readings by Pamela!!

I had been suffering from insomnia for quite a long time and had tried many different treatments offered by conventional medicine without any long term positive results. A friend suggested giving acupuncture a try and after a few treatments I was able to once again experience uninterrupted and deep sleep. Laura Rose is a professional acupuncturist who is extremely skilled, patient centered and a deeply, compassionate individual. I would recommend Laura without condition.

I went to see Nicole at Lotus Garden for my problems related to sleep (insomnia) and for tension/stress in my body. After 4 sessions of Pranic Healing energy medicine, I reached my goal of getting 7-8 hours of un-interrupted sleep per night. Also, my stress level was reduced down to a "1" from a "7." Thank you, Nicole!

About

Get back pain relief; feel like a million dollars! The raindrop therapy method utilizes a series of highly anti-microbial essential oils in order to minimize inflammation. The nine oils are distributed like drops of rain from around six inches above the back, and massaged alongside the spine, and above the rest of the back. A hot compress is then used to assist in the absorption of the oils and relax the muscles. Raindrop method is based upon the theory that many kinds of scoliosis and spinal misalignment are caused by viruses or bacteria that lie latent along the spine. These pathogens make inflammation, which in turn, contorts and disfigures the spinal cord. The benefits of raindrop therapy technique are: * Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-inflammatory * Antiseptic * Aid in air purification * Reduce appetite and aid in weight loss * Aid healing by increasing oxygen in the body * Natural chelators * Sleep aid * Balances hormones * Heals burns * Enhances circulation and immune system Raindrop therapy uses a sequence of nine highly-anti-microbial essential oils gently dropped on the spine and then massaged lightly in using various hand to body techniques. Heat application is also used. Many types of spinal misalignment are caused by bacteria and viruses which lie latent along the spine resulting in inflammation and deformity. Stress, which causes reduced oxygen and circulation to the body, can intensify the inflammation resulting in pain and misalignment. We all carry viruses and bacteria, which deplete our immune system. Everyone benefits from raindrop therapy because the spinal column has nerves which feed the entire body. Wonderfully soothing, nurturing and relaxing, raindrop therapy can work its benefits in the body for days to months or weeks after the application. It is a non-invasive tool for correcting defects in the curvature of the spine.

About

Stress can cause life in today's society, where we deal with many occupations and responsibilities, can be prevented in many ways. Trends indicate that more and more people need to seek help to be better; either to heal any disease or specific ailment or to feel more calm, de-stress and prevent serious problems. All one can do or use to feel better, welcome! Health happens everywhere, not only for our body, which works in harmony with our mind and our emotions, but also for our environment, our home, our workplace, our relations with the immediate environment and above all, or not aligned with what we are with our dreams and our goals. The more "tuned " we are with our true path in life, the greater the rewards at all levels. Because being healthy has a lot to do with being happy, peaceful, to feel useful and in what we like and we are gratified. Holistic therapy is a combination of techniques and methods aimed to work, consciously and unconsciously, the causes of diseases and imbalances in the body. The diagnosis is based on a set of information: a complete picture of the patient, the demonstration of specific symptoms, posture, body language, tone of voice, emotions, responses to specific questions, the energy state of the person etc. Based on this diagnosis, deciding how to work and what technique or techniques used during the session. The issues are varied, from depression to physical problems , emotional problems, relationship, etc. When working on major energy channels of the patient, we are influencing their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual state, helping you re-establish your own self-healing power.
