FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Hiphop, R&B, Rock, Alt. Country, Eletro, Jazz; If it makes a bowed, plectrum, windy or boom-bap sound, chances are I've turned the artist's effort into recordings to be proud of!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
An artist needed inspiration and to feel comfortable enough to come out of her shell for vocal recordings; We set the vibe of the studio to her needs and gave her the time, trust, and support while she found her inner superstar. It only took an hour for us to discover a voice with such power and confidence that she even surprised herself! Goosebumps filled the studio. It was magical and exemplified what I love most about recording folks.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Often you will find producers of music do not have a strong background in music performance. I think the best producers, mixer, arrangers, and songwriters in general, are the ones who not only know how to manipulate the sounds of multiple types of instruments in the studio, but have a working knowledge of how many musical instruments behave in real life, and how to make them sound the best they can - before they start recording them. Aeromancy Studios has many instruments to choose from to add to your pallet of sounds, and since the owner, Don, is also a musician, he understands how to communicate with you in a way so as to bring out the sounds you are looking for in your recordings.
