We personally specialize in weight loss and building strength, not only because all of our trainers are certified and have helped clients reach similar goals to what you may have, but we also have gone through personal weight loss and strength transformations, so we know the journey! In addition, we specialize in group classes, sport specific training, and corrective exercise. We do not do the 30 pound weight loss in 30 day type of programs, because those types of programming are very hard to sustain for a long period of time. For example, we believe in losing 30 lbs over 3-5 months utilizing a sustainable lifestyle. Once you learn healthy habits, you can keep the weight off once and for all! We do not promote one type of diet, because we realize everybody is different. Everybody likes different food, has different tastes in food, different schedules, and so on. Every plan we create for personal training and nutrition is personal for you. In addition, we provide an interactive online program detailing your workouts and progress. The online program is also useful to help schedule workouts for you on your days you are training on your own. We are always available for additional questions you may have at any time. We also keep up with the latest information on various health and fitness publications. We feel there is no substitute for hard work, however we help you through the highs and lows everybody can experience in their personal fitness journey. We are also advocates of the tried and true basic exercises for strength training and if you have no injuries: (Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Press, Overhead Press, Row, Pull-Up, Dip, and the Push-Up. All exercises can be modified to your ability.) Cardio is great for your health, but we are firm believers that cardio alone will not help you reach your goals. Weight training is a necessity to experience the fat loss goals you are looking for. While we will push you to your full potential, we are always careful if you have an injury, and we emphasize proper form. We have experience in sport related training such as football, soccer, track, and long distance running. I like seeing the transformation of a client from when they first started with me to where they are at today. Seeing personal triumphs from clients such as losing a certain amount of pounds and/or body fat, lifting a certain amount of weight, fitting into a dream outfit, getting a PR in a race, being able to recover from a past injury quicker, etc.

Working with Cass Fitness, and Samantha in particular, has been a wonderful experience so far. Samantha has been on point with her professional demeanor. She is timely and organized, and most importantly, fun to work with. I have only had about two weeks of lessons and can already see some incremental results.

I went through the process of reaching out 6 different personal trainers, and ultimately selected Cass Fitness because of their responsiveness, value, the fact that they come to my building's gym, and how much I enjoyed my first session. I'm only two workouts into my relationship with Cass Fitness, but I would highly recommend them so far.

Matt is an excellent trainer. He lives, breathes, and eats fitness, which is hugely motivating for his clients. Working out with Matt is never dull, because he’s great about not repeating the same workouts each session. He also does a good job of explaining why he has you do certain exercises and has a good eye for proper form and execution. I also think Matt is a great conversationalist and so keeps your mind occupied on an entertaining story rather than the pain! And he definitely will not let you get away with anything that keeps you from achieving your fitness goals. Training with Matt may be the best investment you can make in yourself and I highly recommend working with him.

I hired a personal trainer for five weeks. She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and showed me how to use the weight machines and also gave some good advice on loosing weight quickly. However, she was often distracted by her fitness app, and during those times was not attentive to what I was doing. Although not her style, I would have preferred to have a more upbeat trainer that really motivated me to push my limits instead of just standing there watching me do repetitions.
