Great communicator, detailed in his explanation of what to expect. He is friendly and made himself available for my last minute question. He was not pushy which was a plus.Apr 30, 2017Verified
I hired a personal trainer for five weeks. She was knowledgeable, pleasant, and showed me how to use the weight machines and also gave some good advice on loosing weight quickly. However, she was often distracted by her fitness app, and during those times was not attentive to what I was doing. Although not her style, I would have preferred to have a more upbeat trainer that really motivated me to push my limits instead of just standing there watching me do repetitions.Mar 25, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our typical process is interacting with a new customer either here on Thumbtack or our other methods of advertising. We then set up a time to call the customer. We set up a free assessment for the client to get a great idea of how we will program their workouts along with making sure the customer is a good fit with the trainer. We send a new client questionnaire to get a better idea of their goals, lifestyle, dietary habits, injury history, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In addition to certifications, I study at least one hour every day through fitness books, journals, blogs, research on common topics further than my certification book dove into.
