At William Violin Studio, I believe learning the violin should be joyful, inspiring, and tailored to each student’s unique goals. Whether you or your child is picking up the violin for the first time, preparing for youth orchestra auditions, or returning to music after a few years away, I try to create a warm and encouraging environment where progress feels natural and rewarding. With years of teaching and performance experience, I specialize in helping students of all ages build a strong foundation in technique, musicianship, and confidence. My lessons combine classical teaching methods with modern, student-centered approaches so you can grow at your own pace. Highlights: - Patient and engaging - Flexible approach - Emphasis on technical foundation A little about me: I hold degrees in Violin Performance from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. I perform regularly as a member of the first violin section of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and with the Baltimore Chamber Players. I also serve as the Artistic Director of Apollo Chamber Music, performing frequently in the DMV area. I’ve studied with world class teachers, including the Associate Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Principal Second Violin of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
