Paul has installed an Electric outlet for my EV. He has also installed portable generator wiring for us. He is very friendly and professional. His work is very neat and quick. I would definitely recommend him for any of the electric projects.
Home Automation Installers provided all the equipment & cables. The install was done with utmost care and expertise. They set up my cable, synched one remote to operate all gadgets and calibrated the surround sound. Job well done!!
Kevin came out as soon as possible on a weekend to inspect the electrical panel of a home we are selling. Very helpful, prompt and easy to work with.
I had two TV's mounted on the wall. One 65' and one 55'. This also included having cable and electrical outlets installed. Pablo and his coworker were very professional and did a fantastic job. The Tv mounts look great and the few holes that they had to punch in the walls to run the wires throughout the house were patched accordingly. Their customer service couldn't have been better. Veronica had Pablo over to my house within an hour of me requesting a quote to do a quick audit prior to performing the work. She also was diligent in following up on the work that was done. Highly recommend this company.
A great electrical contractor on top of his game. Courteous, polite knowlegeable. I've used them twice now with great results.
Contractor installed all new wiring and circuit breakers as well as ceiling fan and LED lighting fixtures in bathroom. All work was done very timely and looks great. He also installed several GFCI outlets in various locations, nice bright LED lights over our kitchen sink and these awesome outlets that also double as night lights. We've several other projects we will be trusting JG with including a brighter more efficient driveway security light and wiring up my new shed/workshop and work bench with a new panel and shop outlets and lighting.
Good experience with this company - the gentleman was very friendly, professional and was able to diagnose the electrical problem quickly and repair it.
David checked all my electrical outlets, located the cause of why a lot of my outlets sometimes didn't work. He told me that all the bathrooms in my home were on the same circuit! He also checked my electrical panel and assured me that I did not need an upgrade. He definitely knows his stuff. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
I learned of and hired Chris from another Home Service Advisor but felt that other need to know about this quality contractor, so with that up front, here's my review. Project: Upgrade an Electrical Panel or Wiring This review is a long time in coming. I had been searching for an affordable electrician to replace a breaker panel that was on its last legs. I called an electrician from a highly rated company to diagnose and perform some emergency repairs. Seems our panel was on borrowed time. Several breakers were burned, cracked and yet another was buzzing in an unpleasant manner. The offending breakers were replaced and the verdict was that the main bus bars were just not providing good electrical contact. I needed a replacement panel. I got an estimate from another person in that company. A lot of discussion took place between the estimator and his company. Photos of the location and service were taken and e-mailed. I was floored by the magnitude of the estimate and the associated re-work that needed to be done to replace the panel and bring it up to code. Everything from an outside service meter mounted above the deck to the water pipes that passed the panel were all offending and needed to be relocated. We were assured that no inspector would sign off on a replacement panel without these accompanying modifications to the house. We followed with a few more word of mouth recommendations and finally reached an impasse when we found someone who would do it on the cheap if we purchased all the supplies. He was honest enough to admit that he was not a licensed electrician. I had used HomeAdvisor in the past and felt it was time to stop Yelping and get someone in who had been screened - qualified, licensed, insured, etc. HomeAdvisor gave us 3 leads. Chris Livingstone (we later connected that sense of humor with the Dead Rock Contracting name) and his helper, Mike quickly responded to our job description request. From the start, Chris listened to our description of the failure mode, what work had been done already, and our concerns about wanting to have this job done with the appropriate permits and final inspection. He was knowledgeable and had a background that enabled him to make informed decisions on what was required and what was fine if the job was a swap out panel replacement. He thoroughly checked our electric service meter, panel, and water lines. He gave us an estimate with our choice of two top name brand panels. When he said the whole house surge suppressor was included, not an option, I was completely surprised. That suppressor was a $350 option on our first quote. We asked for the panel brand, suppressor and building permit and inspection to be included on the contract. He seemed a tad amused and put it in writing. We were really impressed. So, we started with our wish list. We wanted to replace our dead front post lamp. No problem, do you want to save some labor cost and dig the 18" trench ourselves (yes, and he would run the wires inside of conduit). We have a dead roof mounted ventilator. Can you replace that too? "Sure, do you want to pick out your own fan or should I?" Wow, flat rate install prices as options. We loved it. A week later he arrived as scheduled and got to work. "No power for a couple hours, OK?" And with his head mounted flashlight he got busy in our basement. We felt really comfortable with Chris and Mike working together. Panel complete in less than one day, return visit to finish with the attic fan and deal with an unforeseen beam that prevented fishing a replacement circuit through our basement ceiling for the post lamp and he was done. Bottom line, the work was done neatly, quickly and on budget. We felt that we were in good hands. As a bonus, the County Inspector arrived and put his inspection certificate on the panel. Chris's work passed inspection on the first visit! Good guy, always returns texts, super polite and will definitely keep his card handy should we need his services again. Thanks so much Chris and Mike! David and Erica - Hamilton, VA
I put in a request for speaker installation, which required the wiring be run through the interior walls in my home. Not only did he arrive on time, but the work and craftsmanship were second to none. I will use this company again for my next home theater project, guaranteed.
I hired Mr.Fries from Eric's electric service to install a ceiling fan in my living room. He arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. Eric went above and beyond to finish the job. I was very happy with the end result. A few weeks later I hired Eric once again to install a 30 amp wire and outlet for my heatpump. Once again his work was outstanding. I would highly recommend this electrician for anyone looking for electrical services. Excellent work, friendly and reliable, reasonable fees; what more could you ask for?
